This store needs to deliver food closer to the estimated delivery time. I odered wings and cheese breadsticks at 5:36 pm with an estimated delivery time of 20-30 minutes. 40 minutes went by and the order tracker was still showing it was in the process of being made. I called the store and no one answered so the call got routed to the central customer service line. An older lady said that it looked like our order had left the store 10 minutes prior, okay sounds good. Well another 20 minutes rolls by and still no delivery so I call the store and once again get sent to customer service. This time it was a younger lady who said it looks like they are still making the order. So at this point, I decide to cancel the order. The young lady said her supervisor was able to cancel the order and said I would not be charged for this order (this was around 6:20 pm). At 6:21 pm, I get a text saying that the order is going to be delivered by Doordash. Since we cancelled the order we went out to eat and returned home about 7:30 pm and see food sitting outside our front door. We looked at our security footage and the food order was delivered at 7:15 pm. Horrible service!! Read moreI was in town on business, so staying at a hotel. I did not click on the contact less delivery option because I always need a receipt for business purposes. I received an email saying they handed the Pizza to me. Which i found out was left outside my door. I called pizza hut because there was no receipt left with my order (needed receipt so my company would pay for my meal). I was told that if the driver didn't leave it there, there was nothing they could do. I complained about there answer so they hung up on me. I called back and this time the person told me he was the general manager. I told him I needed a receipt for work and he told me if I drove down there he would get it for me. I asked him to just take a picture of the receipt and email it to me. He refused and hung up on me too. I called back again and was told he was calling the police on me for tying up their phone lines from doing business. I informed him if this is the way they do business they weren't going to have any. Quality of pizza is consistently average, much like what one might expect from McDonald’s. In short, it’s a safe choice - it is exceedingly rare for the qualitative experience to transcend “average,” for better or worse.
My most recent experience with carry-out was a departure from what I have come to expect. I arrived promptly at X:15 to pick up pizza that was to be ready for pickup by X:15-X:25.
The (very friendly and chill) employees unfortunately had forgotten to prepare the order. They apologetically informed me of the error and, with humility, took responsibility for the mistake. “Give us 15-20 minutes,” they said.
53 minutes later, the pizza was ready. Luckily I’m exceedingly chill - so I’m not mad. I have gratitude for the graciousness with which the situation was handled by the employees — and got a chocolate chip cookie (cake?) on the house.
