Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I had such a wonderful experience this Saturday I just had to write a review for this store, its team members, and manager. My family and I just got out of our eye dr appt. upstairs, and were hungry so of course we made our way to the food court for some lunch. My husband and I got food at steak n shake, but our two year old daughter wanted chicken nuggets so I took her down to the chic fil a counter. Even though the line was semi long, I was called to the front within 1-2 minutes so I didn't have to wait a long time with my daughter who was already a little cranky and hungry. I ordered 12 piece chicken nugget meal upsized with a large so that way she eat some now, and I can save the rest for later (she doesn't eat much). They got my order promptly out I say within 2 minutes and the team member was really courteous and gave me extra ice no problem when I asked for it. My order was correct and I was able to get my little's girl lunch promptly to her without much wait which was an A+ for me. But the one part that I have to commend this store for is this! So I sit down and eat with my little girl and she ate some of her fries and maybe 3 nuggets, and she became very full. So I put her food away in her bag, and went to get a refill of water from the counter. After the team members promptly helped me with that, I returned to my table to see that the janitor THREW AWAY MY DAUGHTERS BAG OF FOOD even though my husbands drink was still there. I'm not gonna lie I was on the verge of tears not only because I am currently 8 months pregnant, and hormonal, but it hurt me that the janitor threw away my baby's food when she barely touched it! So I upset went to the counter again for the third time, and asked to speak to a manager. I was kind and told my situation to a really sweet female team member( I don't remember her name unfortunately) who called Daniel her manager to assist me. I told him "I'm sorry sir, I don't know if you can help me but I literally just bought my daughter some food 30-45 minutes ago, and I went to go get a refill of water and the janitor mistakenly threw my food away. I was sitting over there at that little section that looks like a bar."

Without any hesistation He said, "I'm so sorry mam to hear that. I don't know why they would've thrown her lunch away but I understand your frustration. What did you have?"

Before I could answer the first cashier said, "sir she had a 12 piece nugget meal upsized, I literally just helped her." Daniel then rang it up and had it remade for me.

I cannot tell you how much their act of kindness and customer service really impressed me!!!! They helped me out without hesistation and made sure that my family and I were taken care of to the best of standards. I have always been a chic fil a customer but now yall guys forever have my business!! Had a decent experience, a new guy kinda over filled my soda, and handed it to me spilling and leaking from the top, didn't apologize or offer me a new one, asked him for napkins and got a " uh yea right" what's with people and air pods now not paying attention what they are doing? Had a decent meal though, but they could also atleast put one of each salt pepper and ketchup in the bag. I ordered two chicken mini entrees and the cashier read the order back as “two four counts correct?” My wife and I confirmed then waited for our meal. When it came to us it was just the nuggets, I took the order back and got attitude about how I ordered just the nuggets. Then I waited for them to fix it for 15 minutes just to find out they only had one set left and ran out. The chicken minis were for my kids who set there waiting the whole time.
