This is one of our favorite restaurants until now. Last night we made a reservation for party of 3 at 7:30pm and walked out at almost 9:30pm with no dinner for two of us, and a to-go cheesecake for two of us and one to-go dinner. It starting with our waitress taking our drink order (water) and our appetizer order and saying she would be back with our bread. Our area was empty when we sat down. Several minutes later, still no bread and she is chatting with the party of about six that sat in the booth next to us. After a several more minutes, a different server brings the appetizer and I ask her to bring us some bread and she does. Several minutes later, the waitress comes back to take our order. One plate is a pasta plate and the other is a club sandwich (we were sharing). Pretty simple I thought….Several minutes later, the waitress comes back and says that she made an error and overlooked that there was no turkey available for our club. She said we could look over the menu and she would be right back to take our order. Well….she never came back!!!! She took 3 more tables order and never came back! We had to track down the waitress that was serving next to our area. She was extremely polite and very helpful! We told her the whole story and asked her if she could track down our waitress. She said she would, but she also took our order. The original waitress still was a no show…After over an hour, my daughter asks to please put her order (pasta) in a to go as it was getting too late. And we (shared order) canceled ours as it was already about 8:30 and we had lost our appetite. The original waitress still never came back. As the helpful waitress comes back to check on us, we give her our cheesecake reward order (two of us had a reward). At some point to original waitress comes back to us with no apology and is completely no help and looks completely lost. After several attempts to get our cheesecake order, only one comes out smh…The helpful waitress comes back to check on us and says did you get your cheesecake order? We said only one…she leaves to see what’s going on. I see her speak to the manager and the manager looks over at us. The bad waitress comes back with two to-go orders of cheesecake and no ticket so we can pay and leave. I check my cheesecake and it’s not what I ordered. After telling the bad waitress, she walks over to the manager and again she looks over. By this point its after 9pm. We get the correct cheesecake order, pay and leave. No manager ever came over to speak to us. No apology for all the confusion from the bad waitress. NOTHING. The helpful waitress did get tipped for her trouble. I’m upset that I didn’t get her name but...

To whom it may concern,
On Sunday January 15th at 10AM, I called your Corpus location to set up a reservation. I was instructed to go on Yelp for a reservation. The Cheesecake Factory website did not work with reservations. I went to Yelp and unfortunately the Corpus location is not recognized. I will admit I made a reservation at 12:15 at an incorrect location. I realized my mistake but still attempted to find the Corpus Location on Yelp but was unsuccessful. Additionally your website did not work as well. I have attempted to go through your website two weekends in a row and both times it did not work. That being said, in person, we put our name on the list for a group of 4 and was quoted a 55 minute wait due to so many groups of fours ahead of us. I spoke with Reetu and she was of no assistance (she did confirm she spoke with me in the morning to go onto Yelp). She did make it clear that the website and Yelp issue is not the restaurants mistake and that others are able to get through. She also stated that we could go through the website to click on the Yelp link. I understand, however, the website did not have that option at all (for two weekends in a row). I went back after 53 minutes to see how much longer the wait is for our party. The lady at the desk said the wait will be quite a wait, stating that it would be close to another hour but I’m free to eat at the bar if something opens up. She claimed that a lot of parties are ahead of us (same excuse as a hour ago). Apparently 12-15 groups were ahead of us. Then I spoke with Reetu again, she said that it would be more of a 20-30 minute wait but there were alot of groups ahead of us. Please note, that the lack of organization and professionalism is appalling. First of all, someone needs to correct your website and Yelp process. Secondly, someone needs to work on your organizational skills and customer service. It’s confusing when somehow the hostess and manager are not on the same page as far as quoting times. I was not the only upset customer there as another group was quoted 4-4.5 hours for 10 and another group heard our frustrations and stated “so they lied to you too.” In the end, we left after being quoted more time. Again, I understand my yelp reservation was incorrect but clearly your system in person and online was worse. Additionally, I asked for all the managers’ names and was informed that it was Reetu and Gavin. I never spoke to...
Read moreWe love the Cheesecake Factory in other cities, but this one seems to have missed the mark. It started out well when it first opened, but that quality of the food has diminished. This is our fourth time eating here, and we won't be back anytime soon. The quality just seems to be getting worse each time.
The four cheese pasta was just pasta. Nothing stood out as far as taste, and the chicken in it lacked flavor. It was not worth the $27 for the small plate that was bland. The chicken parmesan pizza style was well cooked and looked nice, but it also lacked flavor. The cheesecakes did not seem like high quality Cheesecake like we are used to from here. The mixed drinks were not consistent. The Paloma was overly strong with alcohol but still tasted ok. The other drink tasted like a virgin drink and did not have any alcohol taste.
Their prices are extremely high for the quality of the food. The food choices are great, but the quality of the food being made is not worth the price. We don't mind paying the prices if the food and drinks are worth it. But they were definitely not here.
The atmosphere is not very pleasing as it feels claustrophobic in there and loud. We had to talk louder to hear each other at a four person table. The spaces are close together and tight. It is not very comfortable to sit and eat.
I will say that the staff was mixed. The front desk hostess seemed rude and was short with everyone who went up. Maybe they were having a bad day. The wait staff were excellent. They were all very attentive and polite. Their service was top-notch. I have nothing but praise for them. The cooks, on the other hand, were either new or just stopped caring.
We wish it would have been better. I guess we will have to eat at Cheesecake Factory in another city.
Their portions are good, but the quality is just lacking. The portions of cheesecake were huge in the beginning. Now, they are small and not worth...
