I will NEVER come here again!! Me and my husband came here for dinner, we got there at 7pm, the manager came to the table and asked if we had been helped and we said no. And she said that she would go get our server, we waited for a little while, then a server came up and asked if we had been served and we said no and she said that she will go get our server. Then our server comes to the table with water and no glasses, plates, no silverware. Mind you, all the other tables was set up already with the plates, and silverware very nicely. We were seated at a table that was not set at all. Then she comes back and we orders our appetizers, and we placed out orders. It took so long for them to bring us our appetizer that I forgot that we even ordered an appetizer. Then I looked at the time and realized that we had been waiting for our food going on an hour and Fourty minutes. The waitress come over to our table and says, we are so sorry the wait is so long but we are very busy and there is a party going on in the inside.. mind you that we was there before the so called party started in the inside and the party that started on the outside. Then she come back like ten minutes later and says, she checked on our food and it should be coming right up, ten minutes later we asked her where is our food? Then then apologize and says that it’s not coming up and she don’t know when it will be ready because they are busy.. how long don’t it take to cook blackened drum fish? Then the party came for the outside, the manager walks over to them and shakes theirs hands and introduces herself to them and made sure their table was set very nice. When she was going back inside, we said excuse me to her several times to get her attention, she saw us and was going to come to the table but then turns around and send a different server over to the table and went back inside. Finally I told my husband, let’s go!! I think they are racist!! The manager never shook our hand or anything. I went in to look for the waitress who my husband politely said, if you can’t have our food out in the next 5 minutes, just bring us the ticket for the appetizer. And she said ok, she was going to go get the ticket. Which meant that they was not planning on serving us, they brought us the appetizer to play it off but they did not want to serve black people.. when I went in, I could not find her, she was not even at the ticket computer system to get our ticket even though she had came back out to serve her other tables after she said that she would get us our ticket. Then another waitress saw everything and walked up to me and asked if I needed to speak to a manager. And I said, NO because the manager would not even come see...

This was our first time eating here, and honestly, the experience was very disappointing. We had a reservation for a party of 9 for my cousin's birthday celebration. She made the reservation online for 11 originally but called to change it to 9 once we got a final head count for the celebration. When my cousin called, the restaurant did not inform us that they couldn't guarantee us a table all together. We wouldn't have minded not seating together if we were aware of the fact ahead of time, but the fact we had separate tables was kind of sprung up on us.

The host took a hot minute to seat us, but it looked like she was the only host from what I noticed. She seemed a little stressed and overwhelmed. When we were walked to our table and noticed that we would be separate, all they could offer us was outside seating, which we didn't want because it was quite windy that day. We ended up being fine with sitting separately, yet we still would've liked a heads up.

The service was very slow, our server seemed to have a very large section and looked like she was in the weeds half the time. She did her best, but she had too many tables at once and her service wasn't as great as it could've been had there been more people on.

We didn't end up ordering an appetizer, but it took a surprisingly long time for our server to come back to get our entree order. After putting our order in, the food also took a while to arrive. When the food came to the table I was shocked at how small the portions were. For the price we were paying, I would've definitely expected something larger- even if the presentation was beautiful. The only large portion that was offered was for the Pontchartrain (which has a $10 upcharge). The food was quite underseasoned, and no salt and pepper was provided at the table in order to season the food to taste.

The price didn't match our expectations in almost any regard except the visual presentation of the restaurant. The interior is gorgeous, as well as all glassware, plateware, and silverware- but beneath a beautiful presentation, there was little to no substance in the service or food.

Such a wonderful restaurant by the coast with a great view! The ambience is very modern and bright inside and the patio is lovely as well with great choice of music. Jerry was such an inviting and friendly waiter who took such great care of us and made great recommendations. I ordered lavender haze cocktail, which was lovely with not too tart lemon flavor with nice subtle notes of lavender. I tried the filet mignon (with espresso Demi glace) with a side of cheese cavatapi which was amazing. The filet mignon was very tender and cooked to my liking, and that Demi glace had such depth of flavor that accompanied the filet mignon so well. The cheese cavatapi had a nice gooey texture with buttery breadcrumbs which I enjoyed as well. My friend ordered their burger which she absolutely enjoyed.

To my surprise, the waiter brought another plate of filet mignon entree as we were finishing the meal. He explained that the kitchen had made a mistake of serving me a 6oz steak instead of 8oz as the menu had said, and that they wanted to be honest and provide me with an extra plate to make it right. To be honest, I didn't even notice the size of the steak but I thought it was such an honest and integral part on the restaurant that I felt touched! It speaks to the business' value in excellent customer service and providing quality and an honest product. I absolutely would be back and recommend this place to anyone...
