Not extremely impressed. From my hotel I was going to BWW but due to this place being 2 blocks from the hotel vs 4 miles to BWW I chose here. To start always on a positive the bartender had a great attitude and welcomed me in. She immediately took my beer order and got it to me. Was determined for wings for dinner and their spicy garlic is amazing, also saw the appetizer platter so I picked that. Believe it is 6 bone in, 6 boneless and 6 fried and sauced shrimp. This is were the problem starts. I was well into my 2nd beer and was drinking at a moderate speed so it has been about 20 mins. I saw the bartender go ask about my food not sure what the Answer she got but no food came back with her. She also never came back to tell me what's going on with my food. At the time I'm ordering my 3rd and last beer I ask the bartender " hey did they forget about me"? She went to check again. She came back and told me it would be right out. About 5 mins later I get my food. So approximately 30 mins to get an appetizer. As she brought the plate to me she said she was going to just charge me for the beers due to the wait. Which I thought was very honorable. I still had about 6 wings left and wanted a box so I could take them to the hotel for later. Tring to make eye contact with the bartender was impossible after get my food. Finally I waived my hand to get her attention which I hate doing because its rude. She came over I asked for the box and the check. She quickly came over with the check and the box and went back to talking to the guy at the end of the bar. I looked at the check and saw she didn't take off for the food. I wanted to ask her about it but again I couldn't get her attention. Finally after about 7 more minutes she came and just grabbed the check without saying a would. By that time I was upset at the service and just wanted to get back to the hotel. Ok two big issues here one the bar is huge approximately hold 45 ppl or more. Only 6 ppl were at the bar that's including me. So it was not busy at all. So under staffed is not the issue. The biggest issue is management. I was there close to an hour and never saw a manager walt the floor. He or she never engaged with the customers to see how things are going and that the customers are pleased with their experience at Hooters. Just something to look at. Your employees are a direct representation of your leadership. Let's tighten up on management and the employees will...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of attending the grand reopening of Hooters in Corpus Christi, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular, thanks in large part to our exceptional server, Lelly. From the moment we were seated, Lelly's vibrant personality and warm smile set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
It was an honor to be her very first table, and Lelly made us feel incredibly welcome and valued from the start. Despite the crowd and the excitement surrounding the event, Lelly managed to provide top-notch service with grace and efficiency. Her ability to navigate the packed restaurant while maintaining an attentive and friendly demeanor was truly impressive. She ensured that our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed, all while juggling numerous other tables with equal care.
One of the highlights of our visit was Lelly's expert food recommendations. Her knowledge of the menu was extensive, and she guided us through the options with enthusiasm, suggesting the perfect wing sauce to suit our tastes. (HOT BUFFALO) Her recommendations did not disappoint—every bite was delicious, from the crispy, fried pickles to the mouthwatering wings.
What truly stood out was the speed at which our food and drinks arrived. Despite the high volume of guests, Lelly, the hostess, managers, and kitchen staff worked seamlessly together to deliver our orders promptly. We never felt rushed, yet we never had to wait long for anything—a testament to Lelly's exceptional organizational skills and her dedication to providing the best possible service.
In addition to her impeccable service and great recommendations, Lelly's positive energy added a special touch to our evening. She made us feel welcome and valued, turning what could have been just another meal into a memorable celebration. Her acceptance and warm attitude towards me and my friend (we are visibly gay guys LOL) especially during PRIDE month, was truly heartwarming and made us feel even more at ease.
The new and improved Hooters in Corpus Christi is amazing! With the help of Lelly it truly makes it a 5 star experience! I highly recommend visiting this location and requesting Lelly as your server—you won't be disappointed!
Thank you, Lelly, for making our dining experience at Hooters truly exceptional. We look forward to...
Read moreI sent an email to the regional manager and the corp. office an email regarding the horrible service received at the Corpus Christi Hooters and have not received a response from either. No wonder the service is bad, the Regional and Corp. office do not care.
My husband, 2 children and myself went to Hooters Corpus Christi. From the moment we were seated to the moment we left the experience was absolutely horrible. We were seated and weren't told who would be our waitress. It took at least 8-10 minutes before our waitress Katie came to get our drink order. Once she brought our drinks, she asked if we wanted appetizers. She took our appetizer ordered and didn't come back for a while. Another waitress brought us our appetizer order, then shortly after Katie came back and asked if we were ready to order. She took our order, when she brought our order to the table she brought two of our orders. One of which, was wrong. When she came with the other 2 orders i let her know that the order was not right. She asked "What's wrong with it?" I let her know that we did not ask for lettuce and tomato on the BYOB. She said oh and took the plate. She came back didn't apologize for the incorrect order just simply said they are remaking your burger. She brought the burger back and just placed it on the table and left. Silverware was not given to us, we had to ask for it. She never came to our table to see how everything was. We had been out of our sodas for quite some time. When she came to the table she could clearly see that we were out of our drinks and did not ask if we wanted any refills, she had to be asked to get refills. She never offered dessert, she was just ready to bring us our ticket. Once she brought the ticket she came back real quick to cash us out. It was not busy so I really don't see why the service was so bad. I go to Hooters quite a bit however, it only takes one bad service and two unanswered emails that I will not be going to Hooters Corpus Christi anymore. I will take my business...
