If I could give zero stars I would. The food was horrible. We went out to eat there after my nephewâs graduation and placed our orders when the waitress came back. There was a long hair wrapped around two pieces on my shrimp as me and my sister told the waiter guy that there was hair on there he started to look at it, but kept saying he could not see it. Finally he saw it said itâs OK. Iâm gonna get it right takes it back comes back the second time the food is all cold. Iâm not sure it was redone. The fried shrimp taste horrible as if the grease was just super dirty had so much salt. I ordered the sweetcorn taste as if it was right out of the can I had a fully baked potato loaded, all cold Decided not to even eat my meal I got up went to go pay for it because I was leaving and I left my whole meal on the table. The waitress asked me how it was, and I told her the truth then she proceeded with no consideration of at least trying to make it right to tell me the bill and then to tell me the gratuity is already included. I did let her know that I was not gonna leave a gratuity because no one cared that my plate had a hair in it as I was telling her this the manager over hears what Iâm saying & comes up & asks rudely what was wrong with my plate when I let him know what was the issue he turns around and leaves. the waitress tells me she thinks he went to the front to let the staff know but no one came back to follow up with me so not sure where the manager went. It stayed that way. I told the waitress to just keep the tip and I left. Bad food, horrible service. Manager did not care. We were a party of 11 after graduation ceromy to have dinner there. But I warn you guys donât do it so disgusting with the bad food and service smh.
This is in response to the reply below whoever is responding for Texas flame steakhouse. Thank you for your response hopefully customers will see the lack of customer service you provide. If you feel that serving shrimp wrapped with hair is disrespectful and do not provide any corrective action to help with the issue then I canât imagine what else goes on behind the kitchen with you and your staff. Hopefully the food and health department see this as well....
Read moreFirst time experience n i loved it. The food was amazing. I ordered the rib eye. N my guest ordered the fish platter. But when i saw her plate i was so jealous i so badly wanted her fish platter. But the steak was absolutley delicious too. The chili i order was too " soupy" for me. But the croutons... Was so simply delicious. I n my guest were sat at the booths in the right upon entrance of the dining area. My only complaint was the lighting. It was really hard to see the menu if u need glasses. The creative drink options were limited but has the basic liquiors. Simple margaritas n whiskey will have to do for your drink pallet. The steaks were absolutly juicy and my guest shared her fish fillet with me n it too was absolutly delicious. This restaurant has now become one of my favorite places to eat. However when eating i noticed a dining area in the back with low lighting ambiance. It made me think it was like for VIP GUEST. I questioned it and asked. The waitress informed me that it was for bigger parties. Upon the completion of our meal i further investigated. I discovered that there was a indoor patio area in the back n the dining area is available for small parties if there is availablity. Why is this important? For when u have a special guest that you want to dine with in a quiet romantic setting undisturbed from the loud chaos near the bar. This should have been an option offered. But you will not know unless u have dined in before. I did not have any room for dessert n viewing it in the display case i have deep regret. I saw the chocolate slices of cake. It looked amazing. Upon investigating the back dineing area, I and my guest were greeted by the owner Louie. He was very kind and asked if my experince was good. He had a little chat with us and was very friendly. I absolutley loved it there and am very excited to be a...
Read moreI was looking for a nice steakhouse here in corpus, as Iâve been to a few places and was looking to try something new. So I stumbled upon this on a google search, I should have stumbled some more.
We pulled into the lot, kinda bumpy, tucked in the back of another place. Sometimes the best places are tucked behind other things, we ventured on. The lot was fairly empty, so we figured no waiting, uhhh no. A party of 2, with a 15 minute wait, and only 3 tables occupied in the whole place seemed a bit much. So as I always like to do, we told the hostess weâd b at the bar while we wait, how I know there were only 3 tables. The tap selection of brews wasnât great. 2 taps with the same beer, forgot what, one Michelob ultra, last zegen bock, meh. Full bar, with a good size margarita , best thing of the night, on special, 2 tvâs and bottled beer. We called off the table and decided to eat at the bar.
For our appetizer, the fried stuffed jalapeĂąos, 8, were ok. Not worth the asking price. Too much cheese, not enough bite in the jalapeĂąo, just kinda plain. We left 3 behind.
The entree we ordered to share was the 20 oz angus bone in ribeye, baked potato, green beans. Yes green beans because the other sides either didn't go with a steak, or were other versions of potato. Medium rare steak was a little more rare than we hoped, didnât ask staff to put back for more grill time cause we were ready to eat, and whatâs the difference if itâs a little more red anyway.
Staff was nice, service great, ambiance was dull, just a ho hum experience. Wonât be going back. Better choices n town for a little less coin. Not that I have a problem paying for a pricey dinner, only that I could have paid for it at a...
