PKK Southern Cuisine is a Southern treasure.
Walking in felt like stepping into a Sunday church homecoming in the Southāhistory on the walls, warmth in the air, and a family atmosphere so genuine you almost forget youāre in a restaurant.
The food? š„ Phenomenal. Fried chicken so perfectly seasoned and crispy it pulled apart like butter. Sides that tasted like theyād been cooked with patience and loveācollard greens, candied yams, and cornbread that reminded me of family dinners growing up. And those fried mac-and-cheese bites? Golden, crunchy perfection with creamy magic inside.
The drinks? š Their house-made lemonades are something special. Each one layered, vibrant, and refreshing. The kind of drink that makes you pause mid-sip and smile.
The service? Warm, kind, and attentive. No rushing, no pretenseājust the kind of care thatās becoming rare these days.
This isnāt fast food, and itās not meant to be. Itās food with soul, history, and a sense of belonging. Come here ready to sit, savor, and enjoy being part of something bigger than a meal.

The jazz music playing/atmosphere is always pleasant from the moment you walk into the restaurant and throughout the whole dining experience. I have tried various meals, for brunch, lunch and dinner. All my choices have been delicous. My favorite meal is the chicken & waffles and lavender lemonade. The owners Joseph & Katina greet every customer along with their excellent wait & cook staff.
