PKK Southern Cuisine is a Southern treasure.
Walking in felt like stepping into a Sunday church homecoming in the South—history on the walls, warmth in the air, and a family atmosphere so genuine you almost forget you’re in a restaurant.
The food? 🔥 Phenomenal. Fried chicken so perfectly seasoned and crispy it pulled apart like butter. Sides that tasted like they’d been cooked with patience and love—collard greens, candied yams, and cornbread that reminded me of family dinners growing up. And those fried mac-and-cheese bites? Golden, crunchy perfection with creamy magic inside.
The drinks? 💜 Their house-made lemonades are something special. Each one layered, vibrant, and refreshing. The kind of drink that makes you pause mid-sip and smile.
The service? Warm, kind, and attentive. No rushing, no pretense—just the kind of care that’s becoming rare these days.
This isn’t fast food, and it’s not meant to be. It’s food with soul, history, and a sense of belonging. Come here ready to sit, savor, and enjoy being part of something bigger than a meal.

The jazz music playing/atmosphere is always pleasant from the moment you walk into the restaurant and throughout the whole dining experience. I have tried various meals, for brunch, lunch and dinner. All my choices have been delicous. My favorite meal is the chicken & waffles and lavender lemonade. The owners Joseph & Katina greet every customer along with their excellent wait & cook staff.
