The lady here that I believe is the manager has completely no idea what she's doing, I have no idea how she was hired as the manager because she has absolutely no people skills WHATSOEVER and does not know how to resolve anything. I come here every single week and redeem coupons for a free route 44 drink that I receive from taking customer surveys on an app called Survey Mini. Sonic has a contract with Survey Mini that allows them to give people these coupons, if they customer satisfaction surveys after visiting, and it is very common. I came here today, this was about my 5th time redeeming a coupon and when I mentioned it this woman said she had to come out and see it, it was a code on my phone, (all they have to do is type this code into the register, i know how sonics coupons work) but she just looked at it and immediately said "I have never seen that, I have no idea what that is." She did not even try to type it in, or ask if anyone else has seen it (because I come here all the time for these). She assumed that just because she had never seen it it just didn't exist. I said I've used them here before, and she said that the only coupons sonic has there are the ones the receipt (again, this is not true and this woman has no idea what she's talking about). She said sorry and walked away, just leaving it a that.
I went to the sonic on Kostoryz and they took the coupon without hesitation and didn't even ask for it, this is because the cashiers have the option to discount a route 44 on the register without even taking it, which is what that lady should and COULD have done but was to stubborn to do it because she is not even aware of the coupons of the company she works for.
I used to come here twice a week for lunch, but will never be returning again and will now go to the Sonic...
Read moreI'm going to cop it up to being short handed because I know all restaurants are... My boyfriend and I ordered food for us and the kids. He double checked twice if one of our burgers was all the way (that's how we wanted it) because the way the guy read it back to us sounded weird. He assured it was all the way. We get our food and the burger had no tomatoes or onions. Usually wouldn't be a big deal for me, but I spent $40 on that order and we double checked. We also didn't get a coke with one of our orders and we ordered a large fry that was less than halfway full. Then we ordered ice creams and they took way longer than our food did. We waited for 40 mins. I went to the door to make sure our order didn't go to someone else and I wasn't wasting my time waiting. While asking, the guy cut me off and told me, "I'm finishing that order right now." So I go back to our car and wait ten more minutes. The car hop comes out with our ice creams, two of which were cones. They were almost dripping down on her hands and we had to ask for napkins. My bf was holding them out the window until we got napkins so they wouldn't get all over his car. I really hope all this was due to being short staffed or having new employees, bc if not, I see alot more complaints coming. And if so, the employees working need a raise bc they are taking on more than they can handle. I feel bad for the people working there, they seemed over run and overwhelmed. The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is because the car hop was so incredibly nice and apologetic. I literally felt so bad for her the entire time. Read moreThey served us a burger with MOLD on it. My girlfriend ordered a #3, and upon getting the order, we found MOLD on the burger. I then decided to put a facebook post sharing this & called the restaurant immediately, to which I was issued a refund, but given the excuse by management that the fault was due to the "bread guy". I then received a private message on Facebook apologizing & I left it alone. Then, the next day, I get yet another call from a DIFFERENT MANAGER, apologizing, but citing it was the "bread guys" fault & that they spoke to facebook to have my post removed.
Not only did management pass the blame & take no accountability, they were fine with proceeding to try and have my post removed because they didn't like being called out for their negligence. I firmly explained that there has to be accountability on their end for failing to check their product. I also explained that my post on Facebook was written to raise awareness & my right to do so.
