Where to begin… I visited this location to order meals to-go. After arriving at home, I noticed the chicken strips, gravy, and fries were cold. After one bite, I decided I would call the location to request a remake. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to contact the location, I was unable to reach anyone. I arrived back at the location to an empty restaurant and requested a remake of my order. Assuming my meals were fresh and hot, I arrived back home to realize the staff took the easy way out. What the staff did was grab the already cooked chicken strips from the line, drop them in the fryer, and throw them in a box in hopes that I wouldn’t mind hard, unenjoyable chicken. I then returned back to the restaurant, requested to speak to the manager, and described my experience and issues. I was told by the manager on duty that she told the cooks to remake the order and if they chose to throw the same chicken from the line into the fryer rather than producing fresh, that was not her problem. I visited this location on 10/23 at 9pm, and left after my third visit back at 9:45pm. This is not the first time I have had issues with the quality of food produced at this location. Read moreI am so upset after going to this location tonight. My husband called the order in for the family and it was supposed to be about $65. I get there and the service from the young woman with the red ear buds in her ears while working the register was insanely rude. She wouldn’t even answer my question if the sauces were in the bags. She just stared at me with her rude looks. She tells me it’s $84.73 and I told her we were told $65 on the phone before driving out. The other lady said that she told my husband she didn’t know if that $65 included tax or not. I told her that tax on $65 is most definitely not $20. If anything, it’s less than $6. After not being able to get out of that, she said that the prices have changed twice. I instantly remembered why I hadn’t come back to eat there in months- I had the same experience with the same two ladies!!! I leave with my food, paying way more than I was told and paying someone to be extremely rude to me at the register. I get home and my family-sized fries aren’t even in the bag. I have now called 6 times (letting it ring until it doesn’t ring anymore) and my husband called a handful of times so that I could eat and no answer! This is absolutely insane. Read more3/31/2025 The girl taking the orders at drive thru was very Sharp today, seemingly aggravated at the thought of having to take someone’s order. My mom and I have worked as store managers in the restaurant industry for a combined total of 70?years worth of experience between the both of us. There’s no way I would ever allow a person to deal with the public with such a disrespectful attitude in one of my stores. It was beyond me why she could not hear us through the speaker. She heard us perfectly fine she was just being condescending and difficult for no reason. She couldn’t have been more than 19 or 20 but that’s not an excuse for poor etiquette. Chicken express has a great product but definitely thumbs down to drive thru customer service. I am retired and I am a paid food critic / reviewer. I was not going to review them today because I was at drive thru and because I was simply on the way back from the doctor and my son said “ mommy I’m hungry” so it was a lil family trip it definitely was not supposed to be business. I will say that the manager was attentive and on top of things once my mother and I both asked to speak to management. . Cusps to the Store manager’s customer service skills.
