I took my partner here on a dinner date recently and had a pretty sad experience.
We walk in and there's no line. We check out the menu for a couple of minutes then we move to the register to order. The girl at the register was giving "impatient" because she kept looking at us while deciding and her body language was giving me that too. We go up and ask some questions about the bread included with a meal. She rolls her eyes and said "wait, I guess I'll check" then just walks away, body language giving off "annoyed". Another worker sees this and quickly comes up to us and says "sourdough", I could tell she realized how rude her coworker was being.
After this interaction I noticed the two talking. They decided to switch roles so the person who took our order is now announcing food pickup.
We walk outside to our table and over the next ten minutes we hear the worker who was acting annoyed YELL into the speaker. I've been here before and I know she doesn't need to do that. She sounded tense and angry in her tone. I noticed other tables outside listening then laughing about how weird that was until eventually an older man went inside, then the yelling stopped.
I come in to get my food and nobody is there. I just take what looks like mine and leave.
I get having a bad day but if you're in a service job, read the room. I will not be taking my partner back here on a date when she was made to feel like an...
Read moreI like Bodhi and still plan on giving them my business even after this bad experience but feel I should let them know so they could make some necessary changes. On Thursday I placed an order online for two salmon dinners. I was told to pickup at 6pm. On arrival I was told it would be a few minutes, sat down to wait. It was busy and there was only one person handling everything, she was taking orders, making drinks, and trying to deliver meals. As the food piled up in the service window someone finally came out from the kitchen to help bring food to the waiting tables. The line to order continued to grow. Realizing what was going on and not wanting to cause the poor waitress further stress I continued to wait. After almost an hour I inquired and was finally told, we are out of salmon and your order was cancelled with payment refunded. They were obviously out of salmon before my order was placed. I received no notification from the app or from the establishment. There needs to be a plan in place to inform customers who order online when something goes awry with their order. You obviously need more than one person holding down the fort on a beautiful Thursday evening, the patio was packed. And by the way the waitress deserves a medal, she really held it together under the...
Read moreI'm normally not a Ruben person. Having been a vegan for almost 10 years, the picture of a reuben in my head kind of makes me 🤢. But, the title "tempeh rebuen" on this otherwise off-to-a-rough-start kind of day really stuck with me as I was searching for a vegan spot to grab dinner. I am so glad that they didn't use seitan to try to mimic the red meat used in carnivorous reubens. The spices they used to make this just taste oh so fresh were phenomenal. And I couldn't pick out any specific taste that I wanted to replicate at home, because all the flavors just blended in so perfectly, it was refreshing. Even the pickle didn't taste like a standard pickle. This entire sandwich was made from scratch and it shows. And it's incredible. And the side salad 👩🍳😚👌 If you aren't a fan of vinegar, this dish isn't for you. But if you are, you won't regret it! I also got the pilsner to drink. Normally I don't pair a beer with a plate, but this was the perfect compliment to an already amazing meal. 🤤 Sorry I didn't take a picture. I was ravenous, and devoured the entire thing! Big fan of the fence though! 😅
Hats off to...
