Great Pizza …. Extremely rude staff!

I have been frequenting Cirellos on a fairly frequent basis since moving to Corvallis. Some if the best pizza I’ve ever had … anywhere.

Todays experience with extremely rude people behind the counter will most likely keep me from ever coming back. I went in to order two pizzas to go and was told we would need to wait 30-35 minutes. No problem, I went to my car to wait and they agreed to deliver it to the car. Came back in 35 minutes later to ask how the order was doing and was told abruptly at the pickup window if my name was not called it was not ready …. I had no idea if it was called or not and that was all the conversation he was ready to have.

Waited in line till talk to cashier for about 10 minutes and when I got to him he looked and said it was going to be at least another 30 minutes. I said that I was told 30-35 minutes and had waited another 10 to see where my order was. I’m figuring it was the manager that abruptly gave the cashier my ticket and said to refund his money. I said we’ve got to eat so I will wait .. no other response.

Finally got my order 70 minutes after ordering. Love the pizza. The manager needs a class in...

I consider myself a pretty good judge of pizza. I have eaten pizza all across the US and abroad and have run into some pretty good “pie” in many unusual places.

Recently we have moved to Corvallis from SE Asia and are trying a few different restaurants and tonight we decided to order pizza. Instead of going to one of our standbys we decided to venture out and try something new … so we ordered from Cirellos ….. and we are glad we did.

We order the Cirellos special which is a traditional combo pizza that was very good and loaded with quality toppings.

We also ordered a Chicken Artichoke Pesto pizza which I forget the name but if it was me I would call it a Slice of Heaven! From the first bite I knew I had a new favorite pizza of all time. Perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of toppings that must have been scientifically balanced to produce the most amazing flavor.

We are visiting from out of town. We decided to try something new, not a big chain kind of place.

After we placed our order, we sat down. The decor and aesthetics were plesant, and we felt very much at ease. Our pizza and breadsticks were great. Flavorful, well done.

But what got me was what we witnessed. A man walked in, and was greeted by name by the staff. It didn't take long to realize that this customer was one with a developmental disability. The staff interaction and attitude with this individual was absolutely awesome. Yes, the food was great. But witnessing that interaction is what will make Cirellos a regular stop when we...
