There are two dispensaries in or near Corvallis that we patronize regularly. They each have certain specific advantages, but both are miles above the others, for similar reasons: Top Crop, on 9th just south of the BiMart on 9th at Circle, is veteran-owned and vets receive Top Notch discounts as well. With a surprisingly broad selection of flower, concentrates, and edibles, It's just about impossible to leave there wanting for anything. They have good prices to go with the quality. The place is open and well-lit. Staff is consistently friendly and knowledgable, bud-tenders more friend than salesmen. Well known genetics like Avitas are amongst both flower and concentrate, and Hella, a company creating better living through applied chemistry, allows Noah and the rest of the gentle men and ladies to offer prerolls infused with pure THC melded with your choice of non-thc cannabinoids, including a household favorite, Cherry Pie. At $5 each for just under a full gram rolled and tubed, you just can't go wrong. (A few of the flavors even offer a fair amount of CBD, providing a pleasant body high that relieves soreness while energizing.) Top Crop is a cash-only business, but there's an ATM with much more reasonable fees than the KeyBank down the street. If you haven't been there yet, you owe it to yourself to do so. Get s bit of herb, Make a new friend or two, and you're on your way with a...
Read moreI love top crop, it’s the only place I go. The only issue I’ve ever had with this place, is with 1 particular employee. He’s a bigger guy, with glasses and a beard. Not the tall guy, he’s awesome. The short stocky guy with a beard and glasses. His attitude and customer service are mediocre at best. Everyone else is super friendly and always helps me find what I need, but this one guy, will say that they’re out of stock, on things that I know they have. He told my girlfriend that they didn’t have 2 different things, that another employee showed to me and told me the prices of. He seems to worry more about making his job quick and easy, than helping the customers find what they’re looking for. With that being said, avoid the hefty guy with a beard and glasses when you go. Other than that, Top crop is my...
Read moreI'm 72 and this is the first time I've been to a pot shop and left with spending under $20. (FWIW my usual purchases at MaryJanes and Beaver Bowls are never under $100.) Cameron was the most poorly trained budtender I've ever experienced. This person was clueless as to strains. I told him I wanted to buy the best pre rolled they had. He merely pointed to 3ft of pre rolls displayed and offered me no info as to what the different types were. I asked him for a pack of Indica's and it wasn't until I got home did I notice he gave me a pack pf prerolls that were Sativa. Oh well. I'll continue to buy local from Mary Janes or Beaver Bowls, where I deal with well informed budtenders who know...
