Oregon Trail: Wit
clean and spicy, with orange peel & coriander seed. our wheat beer is unfiltered, and unbeatable on a hot summer day. winner of the 2004 peoples choice award at the newport microbrew festival.
Oregon Trail: Brown Ale
a multiple award winner at the great american beer festival in 1994 & 1995. medium bodied, yet slightly dry, with a nice hoppy middle, and roasted finish.
Oregon Trail: Ipa
first brewed for the british troops in the 1800s, extra hops and alcohol helped preserve the beer for the long voyage around the cape of good hope. oregon trail ipa faithfully adheres to this old brewing tradition. this malty flavored, copperhued india pale ale is balanced with generous amounts of nugget and centennial hops. a hop-lovers delight.
Oregon Trail: Ginseng Porter
as the name implies, this robust porter is infused with american, korean, siberian, & tienchi ginseng for an earthy, rooty finish.
Oregon Trail: Beaver Tail
this wonderfully crisp, light-bodied ale is beaver orange in color. its smooth finish makes it a great session beer year round.

Updating this for Covid Times: While an indoor eatery, they do their best to keep the air following with open doors and fans. This is the one place in america where all staff are properly wearing masks. The sandwiches are a little lighter these days, but still tasty. Good place for lunch takeout! Want to try something a little different from the hipster eateries and gonzo fair found elsewhere in Corvallis? The Old World Deli with its impressive sandwiches and eccentric decór may be just the place for you. I'm a vegetarian most of the time, but when I am full-on craving a meaty sandwich, this place hits the spot. Their Reuben sandwich is tasty and filling (one usually suffices for two meals, in my case). If you're never into meat, though—or you're just into different kinds of meat than corned beef—don't worry, this place has a large and accommodating menu. Unless you're seriously gluten intolerant, in which case avoid this place. Speaking of accessibility, be forewarned that although you don't need to traverse any stairs, there are some uneven spots in the floor (it's old building—all the more charm for it!). The Deli often has live performances and other goings-on, which you might just happen upon any old night of the week. The last time I was there, a troupe of belly dancers was performing. Totally unplanned and quite entertaining! The Deli also boasts "the world's best brownie," or something to that effect... They should've called it a mediocre brownie, and then I woulda been like, "This is AMAZING," but since I was expecting the best brownie in the world, it was really just kinda average. shrug They've also got daily specials like meat loaf and are usually serving up a soup or two. Plus, if you overeat, the Deli is only a block away from the riverwalk in case you want a stroll...

We are one of the recent evacuees displaced due to the severe Oregon wildfires beachy Creek in particular is the wildfire that grew the biggest and took the most lives and structures in Oregon so many of us are devastated and left without homes and while red Cross put us into hotels after a few days they seem to have forgotten about us after that point and we were very fortunate enough to be in the hotel near your lovely historic kind delicious establishment we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for feeding us the majority of the time you're feeding at least nearly 200 evacuees more than once each day without even so much as putting your name on any of the to go containers that you are paying for yourself you're establishment is so humble and kind and giving you are what's good in this world and in Oregon and you are truly what will help us find Hope and Faith in rebuilding our community thank you again and God bless you...

Great for college kids, families, couples, singles, everyone!

This is my favorite place to eat in town. Huge part of the heart and soul of Corvallis! Local legacy that we can’t live without.

Great people, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Delicious food. I love their salads! They use the best greens and veggies, it tastes fresh out of my grandmas garden! They make great deviled eggs, brownies and PB cookies, pumpkin pie and other treats. Today I had a delicious lavender lemonade! New favorite!

Not too far from campus makes it a great spot to relax and get some great food and make some friends. They brew beer that keeps us coming back as often as possible. This is one of the hometown favorites that people love and can’t get enough of. Always a delight. Quick friendly service too 🤍☺️🥳✨👏🙌

*Note I arranged my chips/ate some so it didn’t come just...

We have been eating here for years, and they don't disappoint. The Reuben was delicious with a great combination of sour in the bread, kraut, and yummy dill pickle slices. If the bread isn't made in-house, they certainly fooled me. It could be better if it were toasted rather than microwaved which softens the bread a bit too much. The brownies, almost more cake than brownie, are the primary reason we come to the deli; very delicious with a chocolate chip topping. Great food, with always fast friendly service... you can't go wrong! EDIT: made it to the new year grand reopening for 2022! Same great sandwiches with an updated feel. Hate to see the demise of the yummy lomito special, but the brownies are still the best. Thanks OWD for being such a delight!
