TOGO'S Sandwiches — Restaurant in Corvallis

I’ve been going to this location for over a decade, often once a week for long stretches of time. I've had delivery. It went well. I've never stayed to eat there. Primarily, I grab and go. In terms of quality, I think this ranks higher than most other chain sandwich places in Corvallis.

The owner is very customer focused. Corporate actually responds to questions or requests. The workers have been good to great. And turnover doesn’t seem to hurt overall, as employees are trained well.

The price? Sure, it is higher than some places (see carefully worded comments at the end). But costs have gone up across the board. Yes, I think that there have been some 'adjustments' to portions over the years. But that is true elsewhere as well. And, again, the quality is quite high. More to the point, servers will work to adjust your order if you request them to do so.

Thing is, a chain is still a local business. And this local business deserves its positive reviews. While Togo’s overall regional footprint has decreased in recent years, Corvallis is lucky to have them here in town. Recommended.

Long Island Pete’s Flubs? Can’t figure out why people go there. Timmy Tom’s? Pretty good, but no salads. Pantera? Do you like sodium? The Underground? Well, I go there . . . when I have to go there. No one likes going to The Underground. But, sometimes, you have to go there. Small City Zero? There is a reason that it folded. If Fuegohouse opened up in Corvallis, I think they might give some of these other chains a run for...

My return visit after over 10+ years since my last visit...food quality did NOT disappoint, staff was attentive, courteous, patient, not rushing you to order & actually knew their food enough to make recommendations NOT just say "whatever you'd like". They had a cleaning staff making sure surfaces & floors were being taken care of at closing, so just know when you go in at opening the place is well cleaned at night, I watched their Saturday efforts. The hot food was hot until 5mins to close on a Saturday, no complaints at me coming in 20min to closing, they weren't short-staffed or complaining about the job, they were genuinely happy about being at a shop with good food, and I felt good leaving paying a premium for great service, great food & better than the rest mentality. I already in my mind had a perspective of Togo's, this visit solidified for me Togo's is a MustGo for EVERY visit passing through Corvallis during their business hours... Try their soups, new everyday, usually 3 types, chili most days! Coke Freestyle machine has tons of drink choices. Tons of space for handicap parking & wheelchair accessible seating. EAT...

I placed a catering order valued at $118. When placing the order I specified no onions or tomatoes on the sandwiches. I had no problem with them being on the side just not on the sandwiches. After picking up the order and getting home I noticed not only were there onions and tomatoes on the sandwiches but also pepperoncinis (was not even aware those would be on the sandwiches or I’d of said no to those as well). There were also no condiments either on the sandwiches or on the side. I called as soon as I was made aware of the mistake. I advised them of the issue with the order. I was told over the phone that I would have a certificate at the store I could come pick up, I was satisfied with this as the make good for the issue. When I went the next day to pick up the certificate they offered me 3 free sandwiches, for a $118 catering that was made wrong, mind you only the sandwiches were wrong I could have cared less about the salad. Currently not interested in going back...
