I really hate to leave a poor review of a place, but here we go… I normally don’t leave reviews and I wouldn’t but I have been here twice so far and feel compelled to, unfortunately. The most recent (and most likely last) time I visited was 05/31/2025. Let me amend this - it was an ATTEMPTED VISIT. My mom and I walked in, it was around 2pm and we just wanted some lunch and a beer. We see a few people outside on their patio with drinks. We had come here with the intention of eating outside, it was a beautiful day. There were 3 people total at the bar. We asked the host if the patio was open and if we could sit outside as he starts to gather menus. He stops, looks at us, and says “It’s open but I’m the only one here and I don’t want to go outside. I am trying to convince people to sit inside so I don’t have to keep going out”. Like, are you joking me? I thought he was kidding us at first but the couple at the bar looked at us and I could tell he wasn’t. He said he told the people outside what he had told us but they went out anyways. That makes me wonder if they were being served out there or if they had to keep coming in to order? Lots of confusion! Sorry that you’re apparently understaffed but that is not acceptable to tell a potential customer. I used to work in a restaurant and there were plenty of times that I didn’t feel like seating on the patio but I did anyways, it was my job. So I turned to my mom and said “well, I guess we are going elsewhere” and I shouldn’t have had to say that, nor did I want to. We left without another word. I would’ve really liked to have given this place a second go, but that was unacceptable and just downright rude and baffling. This ties into the first time I’d tried it - just a few months after opening, right after Keystone left. They seemed to be understaffed again. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt - the place was newly open, have to hire people, get shifts made and adjusted, I totally get it! BUT, the service was horribly slow with not a lot of people and more than one staff member. The food was good but it was cold, so so so cold that I couldn’t eat it all and just microwaved it when I got home. Again, I gave the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, it happens in restaurants sometimes, not a big deal. But after the second attempted visit, I doubt there’ll be a third. And what a shame, too! Also, after looking through reviews and seeing THIS response from the owner, I really doubt that I’ll go here again… after reading this rather rude response from them to a different customer I wonder what they’ll respond to me? Bottom line: I wanted to like it but have been given a few reasons not to. I’m so...

Parking-we had my 85yo mom with us and drove around 3 blocks to try and find a handicap parking spot. None available. Finally found a spot in the pay lot ($8.00/2 hrs) about a half a block walk so not bad. There is also metered parking on the street in front of the restaurant but none were available. We were seated right away, only 2 or 3 other tables at 5pm on Friday night. Ordered pretzel bites, when they came out we tried to stab one with a fork and it almost flew across the table it was so hard (had a good laugh). Our waitress was super nice and took them back and brought cheese sticks. We each tried one and nothing fancy about them. Next up was a pepperoni flatbread, had good pizza sauce but a little on the fluffy side for us. Next we had the cheeseburger quesadilla and wow that made up for everything. Delicious!! One of the best we've had in a long time. Last item was a pizza hoagie, that turned out to be one of the best (10 out of 10)! Will definitely be back, minus the...

I will start off by saying the atmosphere is bland and all the tables are sticky! I was told they are sticky because of the finish that was applied to the table. This place has been open for weeks now and that situation has not been fixed. Second, the service was terrible. I gave an appetizer order and asked for another second to look over the menu. I did not see the waitress until the appetizers came out and then had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get my food. Last but not least the appetizers came out as if they were already cooked and had been waiting for someone to order them because they were only warm, the main course was very bland as if it came from the school menu. I'd much rather spend $18 on a good pizza somewhere else. Needless to say I will not be returning nor will I entertain their sister restaurant "The Works" witches 2 doors down...

My friends and I went this past weekend, and I can’t wait to go back! We all got different burgers and the Bavarian pretzel to share. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had! It was cooked just right, the veggies on it were fresh and crisp, absolutely perfect! Their Saratoga chips were good too. Excellent service and a very friendly and attentive staff! Highly recommend they keep the Bavarian pretzel full time- it was so good!
