First time coming into this restaurant- was really looking forward to my Pad Thai . As soon as I started eating, I noticed a hair in my food and had it immediately sent back. They said they’d remake it and I asked for it to be packed since I had lost my appetite. If and when this has happened at other restaurants, they have never charged me for that meal- was taken aback when I got the receipt and she told me she had given me “10% off” for the inconvenience. I was too tired to argue with her after a 15 hour shift in the hospital but was super disappointed with 1) not being able to eat my dinner 2) losing my appetite 3) having to pay for dinner I knew I’d probs not have later on. The food here is nothing short of spectacular—authentic, bursting with bold flavors, and cooked with clear love and skill. I savored (and shamelessly devoured) every last bite like it was my final meal. The space is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that sets the perfect vibe for a comforting meal. I recently tried this new Thai spot in town and it was a delightful experience. I ordered the pork pad Thai and the chicken basil stir fry. The aromas were amazing, and this was some of the best Thai cuisine I've had in a while. The spice level here is 1-3. I stuck with a 1 and added chili oil to my liking for more heat. This spot will be a Covington gem. The friendly customer service was the cherry on top of a great meal. I love that it’s close to home, and I will be returning to try everything else...
