Not my first JJ, normally always awesome. However my sandwich didn’t come cut (I forgot to ask them) so I asked for a plastic knife ( they don’t stock them). So, the manager (I suppose) asked one of his associates to cut the sandwich, she came over (without gloves) and started cutting the sandwich. I said ‘uh, so you’re not going to use gloves’ and she responds something to the affect of ‘yeah, I just noticed that’. I asked her to make another sandwich and she did. My problem is that when she finished the sandwich (I had gone to sit down) she just put it up on the counter and didn’t announce ‘Italian nightclub’ or anything like that. Apparently she was upset that I asked her to make m another sandwich. Additionally, not a single person apologized. Not her, not a manager, nada. No bueno my friends and o won’t be back to this location again. On a separate note, and normally not a show stopper for us, but neither bathroom has a child changing table. If you want what you ordered don't go for lunch on a saturday. I waited 10 minutes for a pre ordered sandwich and what I received was comparable to what my 9 yr old would make. After 3 bites of only bread, lettuce and tomato, I finally reached my tuna only to be assaulted by a mouthful of onion so strong it was like I was cutting them myself. Sure, there was maybe half and half on the tuna to onion ratio, but still, holy onion. If there was any celery, it was miniscule and overpowered by the onion. I also didn't get the cucumbers that literally changed the way I eat tuna forever. (Seriously my first sub from here was absolutely amazing.) Then, the second half of my sub only had a layer of the tuna (and thankfully less onion) thinner than the tomatoes on it. Read moreI placed an online order for pickup labeled as ASAP, 10mins before walking into the store. When I arrived there were 2 customers in the store already. My order was not ready, which was fine. Another customer came into the store and the finished the first guys order. They the took the order of the 4th person (2 original people, 3rd is me, 4th is the new person after myself). Than they complete the 4th persons order instead of the 2nd customers order or my own order. This happened another time and finally the worker asked the 2nd customer what he ordered and proceeded to make that order. They took the order of 2 more customers and made them immediately. I finally asked the guy if he had my order in the back? I thought maybe with COVID might be kept in the back so people don’t touch it. He told me disinterested that he was getting to it soon.
Very poor service from a great store. I didn’t even get an “I’m sorry for the wait Sir” what I did get was “here you go” as he dropped the bag of food...
