Read moreStopped for dinner on a Thursday, got seated right away at a table in the bar area. Our server, Wesley, was pleasant, personable, and right on time. Drinks, appetizers, salads, and breadsticks were brought right away amd food was delicious (as usual). Bar area cleared out shortly after we were seated leaving us the only table still seated and eating in the section which is when the atmosphere totally changed. The bar area was piled with dirty dishes and chairs were left in disarray while 2-3 servers stood behind the bar talking about their weekend plans. Taking the hint that they may have wanted to start their closing duties, my wife and I finished our meals, put our leftovers in boxes, and paid our check. We were finishing up boxing our leftovers when we heard our server loudly say, "I wonder how long they're going to sit there..." while the girl at the bar stood there snickering and blatantly peering over her shoulder at us. When the two realized that we had probably heard the unnecessarily rude remarks, our server assured her that "they can't hear us..." while they hid behind the bar until we left. Actually, we heard every word, and had we not already paid and tipped a manager would most definitely have been requested. Start to finish our meal took less than 40 minutes on a not so busy Thursday night, our meals were simple Alfredo dishes that were ordered as they appeared in the menu, our bill was paid along with a 20% tip, and our dishes were stacked neatly when we left, so the disrespect was not only unwarranted but extremely inconsiderate considering that we asked for nothing outside of the normal responsibilities of their jobs. Word of advice, one former server to another, if you don't have anything nice to say, you're better off saying nothing at all. If you don't want to do a public service, maybe don't work...
4 people $136.17; we got 2 appetizers, 2 never-ending pasta meals and 2 reg. meals. I've attached pic of receipt as it breaks everything down nicely. Food was delicious, tasted just like it should, nice and hot, and service was fabulous. I love it when you don't have to ask for drink refills and the waitress just notices when you need them and drops them off. Julie came around 4x to refill drinks (which we did not pay extra for) which we drank up our cups, she checked up on us multiple times as well as other tables, she is great, this woman needs a raise. I wish the salad was more green leaves instead of white. The toasted Ravioli was amazing! Everyone loved that appetizer I'd recommend people to try it. The meatball parm appetizer had 5 but in the pic I think there's 3 (as we were eating). They have a sausage taste to the meatballs like their not 100% beef, I wish they were. It's okay though, I just don't know if there's pork in it. Saturday night is going to be busy so I signed up for the wait list 10 mins out (the website only lets you sign up 10 mins in advance). Once I signed up for wait list I was told 20 mins but really it was 15 mins, when we arrived, we only waited 5 mins. enough time to use the restroom. Another customer told me they're wait time was 30 mins so using the website or calling to be put on the wait list is important, especially if your dining on weekend evenings. It doesnt cost anything to be put on the waitlist ahead of time. All the staff appeared to be working hard and atmosphere was good, not too loud even though it was packed. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot up front in front of the door! and it was a regular parking spot! not handicapped, not take-out delivery parking spot either, so that...
Read moreWe went to the cranberry one. I realized prices went up every which way you turn these days, but I always get the eggplant parm, and I ask for the up charge to have Alfredo sauce on the pasta instead of the side of marinara. The eggplant parm used to be about $10.95, my husband said it went up a little bit though after that.. THIS TIME?$16.29. Sorry, one eggplant can serve many people when you make it this way, so three slices of eggplant and a side of inexpensive pasta was just just too much in my opinion. Also the upcharge for the swapping of the sauces, was an extra $2.49. I usually don't care but I just thought pasta and eggplant are two of the most inexpensive items you can buy. Also, unfortunately I've never had any complaints about the timing of bringing drinks in salad, this time it wasn't a good experience. Of course the salads are smaller and that's cool, because they will allow the table to have a refill. Well the refill didn't come until after or dinners were served. The salad came before the drinks, it was all mixed up. Our server checked in when literally my husband had one bite of his dinner left. Good thing he didn't want anything additional because like I mentioned our server didn't come back until we were finished. At that point I wanted a very small doggie bag container because we were actually finished eating. I had to ask if they still put tomatoes in the salad when it was served... And she said Oh yes! And went and got some. Not a big deal but this is a review and I'm trying to be thorough. Our dinners were tasty, but When the timing is all backwards it makes it a little...
