Stopped in Juniper Grille yesterday for a late lunch. While standing by the hostess stand waiting for the rest of our party, we noticed how cold it was, but thought it was just because we were by the door. When the hostess was ready to seat us, We even commented to her and laughed that “ we didn’t care where our table was, as long as it was warm”. Only one other table was occupied in the dining room. As we sat down and started looking at the menu, we noticed again that it was really cold. We flagged down an employee ( not sure her title— she wasn’t a server) and asked if they could turn up the heat. She promptly told us that the heater was broken. They didn’t have heat were her exact words!!! We said “ shouldn’t someone have told us that when we came in!!! “. We were going to leave, but needed to wait for the other 2 people in our party so we could decide where to go. In the meantime. Our server came over and we asked her about the heat. She said, “ it’s not broken, I’ll have my manager turn it up for you”. We were sitting near the thermostat— it was 65 degrees in there. There was a person behind the food line/kitchen area wearing a WINTER COAT and GLOVES!! The manager came over, turned up the heat and looked at us and said that it will get warm fairly quickly. At this point, we had no time to leave and go somewhere else as it had started to snow and 2 people in our party had an hour and a half drive home. —- so we ordered. In the end, the service and food were good, but it never got warmer —/ it’s difficult to enjoy a meal when you’re freezing. Never did anyone check to see if we were warmer or satisfied. It was 66 degrees in the dining room when we left. Very...

We speak to the representatives of the new restaurant, regarding our visit, before we come, and also come and have a lunch before the group comes, We always, request, separate checks, and the time 1:00pm. We spoke to a Stephanie, requested menu, they said select 5 items, all charges same price. OK We get there last Friday, 7/17...Ladies are all seated, on porch. a waiter and waitress come to take orders. Our lady in charge of arrangements, was told, just then, there is a $450.00 charge for the room. There are only 14 people, to be served, we certainly did not ever hear of the charge or agree to the fee. Never heard or saw a contract, let alone sign one!!!!! The waiter and waitress were extremely rude to Peg and later to all of us. No refills on drinks, no additional dressing, when requested by 4 people for the salad.. Most of all, they BULLIED Peg to pay the 20% of the $450.00 room charge. How outrageous was this. This restaurant should be ashamed of the way, they allow their staff to talk and treat customers. I should say ex-customers...Be assured you will have the worst level of BAD MOUTH PRESS y...
I'm not sure how there are comments about how good this place is. I've been to this restaurant twice and I should have learned from my first trip but I decided to give them another try. Big mistake. We sat at the bar and were attacked by gnats (it was like this the previous time too). I got the salmon which was an OK thawed out frozen piece of salmon. My asparagus was burned and had zero flavor. My guest got the strip steak and it was awful. It came with a side of mashed potatoes that didn't come out with the steak. When I told the server that we were missing the side I was given attitude and told that "it was coming." The bartender then brought them out and told us "oh I didn't forget about you even though it seemed like I did." The mashed potatoes were a joke. They were instant mashed potatoes out of a box and had zero good flavor. The steak also had zero flavor and was overcooked. My guest ate less than half of it. The bartender paid zero attention to this and even clearly heard us say how bad it was. She took it away and never asked how it was...probably because she knew what the answer was going to be. I'll never bring business back here. It was embarrassing to have an out of town guest at this...
