Subway — Restaurant in Crystal

I recently visited subway and, while I'd love to give a higher rating, I find myself limited to a 2-star review due to pricing concerns. Let me start with the positives: the staff was fantastic, offering friendly and prompt service that made the visit pleasant. The food, as always, was amazing—delicious and exactly what I've come to expect from this establishment. However, the issue that significantly dampened my experience was the unexpected price increase. Historically, I've been able to enjoy my usual two items for around $19, but this visit saw my bill escalate to over $31. This substantial rise in cost not only impacts my overall satisfaction but also affects my ability to leave a tip, which is disappointing given the excellent service provided. The last time we were there for a late dinner stop, we received great service as always and our meals were made to our liking. After I ate my dinner, it was great and no issues with it, but my wife's subway she said had a funny taste to it and couldn't eat it and couldn't figure out what was causing it. So, after many times going there, this was our only problem we've ever had with this place. It still deserves our 5 star ratings and will still come back again for our late night meals. Just had a bad experience that night and we don't think it was an employee issue at all as they get 5 stars also for the quick service and always friendly smile's. We went to this location on Saturday the 28th, at around 650pm. We were instantly greeted by a woman working at that time, alone. She warmly greeted us and was very kind and quick with her work. She seemed to thouroughly enjoy her job and was very curtious to the customers waiting behind us. She finished our order and let them know she would be right with them. She made the customer experince feel personal and welcoming. To be honest, I never thought I'd have such a good customer service experience at a subway. I wished I had gotten her name to give her the credit she deserves, however it was busy and she was giving her full attention to the other people waiting, like she should.
