Unfortunately, I have to give a one star. I would gladly give zero or less than zero if possible.
For the public to have the right information, I will discuss taste, value, and service.
Service
The cashier and line people are incredibly rude and harassing.
I like others, waiting for their food, were met by a Don’t talk to me or ask me anything attitude.
The persons ahead of me had every right to ask questions: The staff had given food to the wrong person and failed to complete tickets.
This is what happened to my order of a Chicken Basil Sandwich.
When they realized they were messing up orders, apparently again, they argued briefly among themselves.
And, it was not busy. There was no huge line. In fact, there were only about five of us waiting for food.
The cashier was very rude, insolent, and unkind. I tried to tell her I wanted a substitution on one item.
She gave me a look of contempt and ordered me, not requested politely, to sign my credit card invoice.
I was so upset at this: I thought to cancel my order. But, instead, I decided to put in a review.
Taste
A few gross things to consider. You might want to stop reading if you’re hungry and plan to buy a sandwich here.
The avocado spread they use, almost like a guacamole, was spoiled.
I thought to ask the cook not to use the black and brown parts.
He didn’t care and never changed out the old spread.
The same cook uses a white wet towel to clean his glove on. This is unsanitary due to transfer.
And do they use the same towel to wipe the counter?
He then touched the items to make my sandwich. Having worked in a real kitchen, I know this to be unethical and dangerous.
You are supposed to change your gloves with new ones: Like they do at most Subways, before you continue to make someone’s sandwich.
How did it taste?
Awful.
The lettuce and tomatoes were squished and fell out of the sandwich. The avocado was bland, except for the musty taste of the black, spoiled parts.
And the bread tasted not fresh and bland too. Kind of like a pita pocket left to sit on the counter.
No good flavor.
And, I feel a little sick now to my stomach. My saliva keeps trickling down my throat after eating it some twenty minutes ago.
Value
I would have enjoyed the Tendergrill Sandwich much more at the Burger King in the same food court of the Culver City Mall.
It would have been cheaper and more sanitary too.
If it were a letter grade, an F for stone oven.
But worst, for your health, I recommend you eat somewhere else.
The Mongolian BBQ is very good here, and the Dot Saigon Pho is here.
And, there’s Burger King too.

Read moreFood is great their but the employees attitudes are repulsive. I sat in line behind two other customers and watched as the employees just kept setting up the meals without saying a word to the customers who were standing there. The two customers left and then when I ordered the employee walked away while I was trying to order something different after they said some ingredients were not available. When I was able to pick something else he asked me if I was done as if I was bothering him. Mind you my nephew was standing next to me ready to give his part of the order. I know they were short staffed but there is a better way to interact with...
Read moreGiant oven, but no pizza? Whaaaaat? Don't worry. The focus is on salads and sandwiches, all served with or on the bread from that giant oven. The bread is great, a sort of Italian flat bread thing going on, with good texture and solid flavor. Sure, the salad isn't made of the fanciest ingredients (I mean, those nuts could be candied, and the lettuce mix is a bit generic) but when it comes together, it really works.
Great salads and sandwiches, you won't miss that greasy slice at all. Try anything with craisins, because craisins...
