I’ve given 4 stars rather than the 3 I almost chose because the friends who invited us here love it and dine here regularly. Maybe our server was having a bad day but he really didn’t give us the best experience. The positives: nice atmosphere, the charcuterie board was delicious and I love the wine flights. The flights are a great idea and also something you can discuss as you try the different wines. Also, very clean; the bathroom was spotless. Unfortunately our server seemed irritated with us from the start. He was brisk and abrupt to the point of almost being rude. When we couldn’t decide which cheese to add to the charcuterie board you could almost hear him tutting under his breath. For context I should add that we were not a group of potentially annoying college kids, we were a party of older adults. When he brought the board to our tiny table he shuffled things around saying he had to make room, but he seated us on a small table when all around us were party’s of 2 on tables for 4. We spent $110 without the tip for 2 people, and that was without the charcuterie board which our friends paid for. Husband had the pork chop which he liked but my burger was spoiled by the lack of ketchup and the server not coming to check on how our food was. My little side of ketchup had a scraping in the bottom, maybe whoever filled it ran out, but because the server was so unfriendly I didn’t wave and ask for more as basically I didn’t feel brave enough to ask for something. Had he stopped by and said how is everything I would have asked, but he came along when we were 3/4s done eating and just said ”you’re ok?” Too expensive for that type of experience, we will go again if our friends invite us but would not choose...

Read moreIn the time of the Covid19 customer service is an absolute must. We can't all be at our best every time but man it sure sucks when I have to share the experience of someone not having a good night. Ok for the positive notes: The atmosphere was just right for date night, and the wine selection is decently priced. The food looked amazing....well to start, I ordered the pork chop and my wife ordered the steak. Steak was decent for the price. The pork chop was under cooked...ughhh!..There were long waits between checking on our table... so honestly I hate to see what its like on a busy night. I'd like to recommend that you shouldn't come in here hungry because its a wine bar FIRST with a restaurant menu. It took a bit for us to get our food out...again I made it known it was our first time in the establishment and that our neighbors recommended the place. With knowing that info you'd think they would want to add another diehard fan to the roster of customers....again maybe a bad night for them so we will give them another shot. I think I will eat elsewhere and then stop by for a drink here instead of expecting the full on service. I advised our server of the under cooked pork and it seemed to me it wasn't a big deal to him. We recieved the full price payment with a half price service. Check out the doneness of the pork😐🤢 yeah it was that kind of night! Hopefully you all are better...
