The happy hour definitely has a bit of false advertising! I attached the picture to show it clearly states 50% off 'all appetizers' There are only 4 apps and a combo. We decided to order the combo for 2 of us. It came but at full price! Since they are in the soft opening we assumed it was just an error. The bartender said, no the combo isn't half off, as it doesn't say all appetizers. I showed her it said 'ALL'. She said there is nothing she can do and she couldn't find anyone who could. I said it's happy hour. We had the menu in front of us and I asked if you knew it wasn't half off, why didn't you say something? Well you ordered it! I said you mean I could have ordered the three separate larger appetizers for less, with the 50% off and she said 'I guess'. The Margaritas were good, the food was good, and what ended to be blatant false advertising and a poor attitude to even fix it prompted me to write this as a warning to others.

My sister friends and I were recommended to try this new establishment by Fox, a line cook that works here who happens to be a Denver native such as myself. So we decided to have our Sunday Fun day here and I must say we were quite impressed by everything: the drinks, the food, the ambiance, and the service. The beautiful Ms. Doni - lead chef was also our bartender/waitress, and she was just as pleasant and charming as could be. She did an amazing job catering to us, as well as the owners (who came in close to the time we were about to leave) also ensured that we were well taken care of. Oh, and to mention: the upstairs lounge is very exquisite with a chilled, laid-back, grown and sexy vibe to it. I would absolutely give Amelia’s a 10/10, and once the poetry showcase begins next week that crowd is sure to elevate this place to new heights.

The service was Great! The young Ladies had good customer service. The atmosphere wasn’t nothing spectacular. I had the crab cakes and a Caesar salad very simple food choices. I have never and I mean never in My life paid $13 for a salad! The menu said $5 and I was charged $13! The reason for 1 star review! I’m not sure if they have weekend prices or I look rich one! This is ridiculous! Needless to say I will not be spending my coins here ever again!

Besides the decor and music this place is trash! Drinks trash, food trash, and service is absolute trash! With so much potential it’s ridiculous the experience I had here last night! How do you reserve a table party and don’t advise them when they are seated there is no server and you need to order food at the bar! We sat for the longest waiting for someone to come back and then after asking the person who we saw serving food for help and they never came we got up! We ordered food at 7pm and some people did not get food until almost 9pm! Then the food was super mid! How do you serve nasty French fries! And every drink we asked for something was out of stock! The margarita was TERRIBLE! Then when we ask for help we are told if you keep questioning me I’m going to put you out by the “owner”! 10 out of 10 would...
