Good Graces is a gorgeous looking restaurant. We did not know it was a part of a hotel and with that there is never anyone there. A travesty because the food we had was spectacular! I would have rated the atmosphere higher but with no one there there’s not really a vibe just an empty restaurant. But the food, the food we had was amazing. We didn’t try the whole menu because honestly in my experience when there’s no one there the food is bad. So we only ordered the truffle parm fries and a Caesar salad. But those fries, those are the best fries I’ve ever had in my life. I’d go back just for the fries. The plates looked gorgeous and the flavor was not lacking! The bread was even amazing I think it was a Japanese style bread and it was tasty. Service was hotel style and since we were the only ones inside you’d think the service would be better but it was not. Service was 3 out of 10. Based on the food we had alone I’d give Good Graces 7.9 out of 10. I’d rate the atmosphere higher if there was people but that is the only reason for the 3 stars. Funny thing was, I made a reservation for this place and laughed when we walked in and we were the only...
Read moreCame with a friend for a Friday night dinner and the restaurant is located within the Marriott hotel. There’s free valet parking for two hours which was a plus for us! Upon entering, we did have trouble finding the restaurant but managed to locate it. For about a hour, we were the only patrons until a few others rolled in. The service from our waiter was great but the food was a bit of a letdown.
For the table we ordered truffle and parmesan fries and the bison meatballs. We did enjoy both but you couldn’t really taste the truffle on the fries. For my entree, I ordered salmon and while the salmon was cooked to my liking (medium) the side with it was less desirable - a grilled eggplant ratatouille. They do start you with bread and butter while you wait for your other ordered items. We ended the night with the earl grey creme brûlée and I really didn’t like it. If you’re a fan of earl gray tea you’ll love this!
Overall, the pros were the service and free valet but the food did fall...
Read moreThe first thing you need to understand about Good Graces is that it's truly amazing. From the decor to the presentation of dishes, everything is so spectacular. I stopped by on a whim, considering the website just takes you to the Marriott with no menus or anything.(you should really promote this restaurant as a separate entity, it's very solid) I learned that the chef is Peruvian and the pastry chef won a Netflix show, super interesting considering I knew none of this. I proceeded to then order the Ceviche, Half Chicken & Strawberry Cheesecake. Obviously, everything was delicious and I couldn't ask for more. But then the chef came out and talked to me about my travels to Peru and Spain, this I loved. It's been awhile since a chef has approached me due to covid but I miss the interactions. It just shows you what kind of environment he wants to create with his kitchen, it's very down to Earth. Please stop by and see...
