Disappointed! This salon was highly recommended to me by someone who always has s great nail job. Unfortunately my nails did not come out so well. I was told they could match the polish color on my toes to my dip powder, I chose a lovely peach color for dip powder and the tech came back with a bright orange color. When I asked if there was a better match she came back w neon orange so we stuck with the original. She tried to get me to get dip powder on my toes too and I told her that wasn’t necessary. I asked if maybe they had a pink gloss to put over top and tone down the orange and she said they didn’t, I’d have to get the dip powder on my toes if I wanted a closer match... like... really. Ok. The pedi just seemed rushed and lack luster. By the time I got to my car my toe has already scuffed. What a waste of $30.The gentleman who was doing my mani and dip was very nice and offered me wine and water however I noticed he seemed a Lil half hazard as well. I didn’t realize how sloppy until I got back to my car. See pix. I don’t mind paying $75 for my nails but I expect a quality job and luxurious experience, I would not consider this to be either. Sadly I won’t be going back. I like to go to a place where I can get good quality work with out having to nitpick. or like he suggested, get up mid experience and go look at the Polish wall myself since the pedi lady really didn’t want to be bothered to match polish. At this rate I might as well go to Wally World and pay way less for a better job.
Update: the mgr called and apologized and I’ve been back a couple times since. Rachael is a gem and did an excellent job although I will say that consistency still is not their strong suit. If you want good consistent service ask for Rachael and she’ll take great...

Lavender Pedicure: B The pedicurist was so sweet and kind. Made sure to show the types of pedicure options available and have a really nice experience overall.
Gel Manicure: C- See photos. It was a step above just ok. But less polished than I’m used to. The manicurist was a bit rough at times. But hey my old gel polish was removed and new polished was put on. It seemed pretty rushed and sloppy. Manicurist kept looking at her watch while filing and then painting my nails. She did make sure the massage chair kept going so that was nice and seemed attentive at times. But also cut the skin around my nail on thumb and pinky (right hand).
Service: B Staff offered water, were available for call in appointment, gave good instruction.
Friendliness: B The staff was nice. You see smiles when you walk in which is nice. But didn’t acknowledge and tried to say the manicurist did not cut me (I must have cut myself before hand, sorry but i literally felt the cut when it happened).
Overall Thoughts: For a last minute appointment in the neighborhood it was fine. But I’ll be going back to my regularly nail lady who is 30 minutes away from me. If I ever need a pedicure again when my nail lady is booked I’ll come back, but not for a gel manicure based on this experience. Actually I wouldn’t let them even come close to my hands with a file...
Read moreReally tried to give this place a chance since it came highly reviewed by a few of my friends but there are too many nail salons in Dallas for me to give this place a 2nd chance. Place is cozy cause it’s in a restored house. Nothing fancy about it. People were friendly and welcoming.
I came in for a dip manicure and a classic pedicure. The guy that did my pedicure wasn’t good period. The shaping was sloppy and when I asked him to fix it he didn’t want to file it and just cut my toes shorter. Thankfully the manicurist that did my nails was nice enough to try and fix it. I loved my manicure and design after I left. Shape was perfect and design was cute. Thought I found my new spot and was happy until 3 days later when one of my nails randomly popped off and then days later another nail broke. Mildly annoyed but thought it was just these 2 nails that needed fixing. After going to the salon twice in an attempt to fix it I thought all was good. Days later more nails popped off. Three one day and another the next day. Never in my years have I had dipped nails pop off like press on nails. In less than 2 weeks 5 nails have popped off and 1 broke. Didn’t even bother going back to get them fixed because I shouldn’t have to go back to a salon twice to fix a $70 manicure.
Like I said before too many salons in Dallas to give this one...
