Don Taco Montfort — Restaurant in Dallas

I’ve always enjoyed visiting this restaurant, but my experience today was incredibly disappointing. I ordered an enchilada, and the shredded cheese inside was cold and unmelted. When I politely mentioned this to an employee, her response was sarcastic and dismissive. She said, “It’s cheese,” and when I explained that enchiladas typically have melted cheese, she replied, “That’s how we serve it here,” which was surprising and unhelpful.

She then rolled her eyes, took the dish to the kitchen, and brought it back saying, “That’s the way it goes.” When I mentioned there was no need to be rude, she denied being rude but continued to act dismissively. It was incredibly uncomfortable and awkward.

I’ve never had an enchilada served this way, and the lack of care in both the food preparation and customer service was shocking. The employee, who was wearing a headset and had brunette hair, showed no interest in resolving the situation politely or professionally.

Don't go there! Horrible experience!!! Thiefs! I have been to this place many times and today the drive thru lady decided to not give me my debt card back and was very rude. She claimed she gave me my card with my receipt but didn't and instead of saying I'm sorry let me check she was quick to defend herself saying she knows how to do her job and trying to argue with me. I too also have a routine when I get my debt card back and put it in my wallet right away. She called some guy over and of course he took her side and I told him if my card was given back I would not be asking for it that she did not give it back to me. Claims he would check the cameras and got my number but I know they will not be calling me. Whatever she was up to did not...

When you approach, it doesn't look like they would have good food. But anyone that knows anything about eating out? If the place looks old and run down 99% of the time. The food is excellent.
