Very disappointed with the way we were treated by the owner, Wilson. Last night my group and I purchased bottle service. I made my reservation through Instagram DM, the person handling the reservation sent me the menu and did NOT mention there was a minimum (which most places have one an mention it up front). Upon our arrival, the bouncer could not find our reservation, but this issue was resolved quickly by the manager lady- Diana, I think. She escorted us to our table and asked us which bottle we were going to choose. At 11pm we placed our order for a bottle of Tito's, paid, signed the check, and began our birthday celebration.
The issue began when our kind waitress, Karen, came up to me at 1:30am informing me that I HAD to buy a second bottle because this was required... I communicated with her that I was not made aware this was a requirement while making the reservation or when we arrived and by 1:30am my guest are too intoxicated to consume an entire bottle in just 30 minutes, especially because they were also consuming from the bar!! She asked me to speak to the manager because she was only doing her job, I told the manager the same thing and her response was "you have to buy the bottle, but don't have to drink it"!? Now why would I spend $200+ more when you are giving this kind of service!? At that point I became frustrated and asked to speak to the owner.
Wilson-the owner- was made aware of the miscommunication. His response "if you are not going to buy another bottle you need to leave!! I am here to make business not a charity" who says that to a repeating paying customer!? The saddest part of this was when I told him my guest where still consuming from the bar he asked his bouncers to escort my guest out the back door.
I understand that misunderstandings happen, and I am not upset about that. But the owners judgment is very poor. Mr. Wilson, if you are reading this, know that you are in business because WE your customers keep you in business....
Read moreCame here on a date which started out great but ended with great disappointment. I live in Fort Worth and read about this place online. The drinks were great, and the music was ok because the dj kept mixing from one extreme of genre to another but we like to dance so we just adapted to whatever he put on. Over all, the eclectic, artful ambiance was great. The moment it went south was when I went to close out my tab and found out the bar tender Emerson, had lost my debit card. Another guy searched for my card for a while and could not find it. In this day in age where theft of credit and identity information occurs on a regular basis, you could just imagine how I felt. Finally, the gentleman looking for my card explained that he couldn't find it and would have to follow up with my, so he took my info. My date with my GF ended with me on the phone with Wells Fargo most of the way and asking my GF to pay for food. To make it worse, I had to borrow money from her to buy my daughter's school supplies and uniforms on Sunday.
On Sunday since I didn't receive a call or email, I decided to call Café Salsera my self. I spoke with the manager who located my card, but by this time, the damage had been done. I had already called to cancel my card and had another one issued. This might of seemed like a small blunder to those responsible, but it had a number of significant effects. If I were to go there again, I will most probably...
Read moreI have visited Salsera on multiple occasions. We usually do dinner n then bottle service. Tonight we had reservation for Bottle Service only and we had the worst service ever. To start with they took forever to let us in. Which with bottle service you are supposed to be able to go to the front of the line. Our server even came out to have them let us in and the security was just rude. Then they switched my table from the dance floor to the balcony without me asking for that. I specifically requested a table on the dance floor. We had the girls bring out the wrong bottle one of the times which is fine, people make mistakes but the owner kept passing by and bumping into the guys in our party and then made a big scene and wanted to get us kicked out because the guys turned around to look at who was bumping them. Nothing was said to him but he still made a scene which was so uncalled for. All the guys in our party are Veterans and don't appreciate people bumping into them on purpose but still were calm and didn't tell him anything. Don't get me wrong the bottle service girls are always great but we will never be returning, the owner needs to learn how to treat customers. We always visit and is usually many of us buying multiple bottles on each visit. We will be taking our...
