After my experience today, I no longer will entertain the topic that downtown eateries matter. After searching for a parking space, I located a garage that posted validation for restaurant patrons who visited less than 2 hours. Perfect. I made my way into the line that moved reasonably quickly, even considering it was lunch hour. Here I am excited. I approached the counter and noticed the line came to a hault when the customer prior to me requested beans and was rudely informed, there were no beans. She politely asked how long it would be and if she could wait, however, the person preparing her order stared at her, providing no response, as if her request was obsurd. Yikes. Another person had to leave the line of cooks in the back to let her know, they would be ready in two minutes. She stepped aside and waited. I, who considered requesting beans as well, decided against it as I didn't want to be met with the same rude service. I moved along to finish my order and pay a little over $17 for a chicken bowl and fountain drink. Whoa. Inflation, is that you? I grabbed my sweet tea, which tasted as if it was mislabled because it was unsweet. No biggie.I found a table, and sat for about 15 minutes. Packed my remaining food, and left the establishment. Upon leaving the garage, I was prompted to pay $5 for a visit that was less than 30 min total. So there we have a $22 lunch run, that felt rushed and rude. In hindsight, perhaps I neglected to remember to request validation due to someone else being treated as if they were asking for too much. As someone who works downtown, I will be exercising my remote option more frequently as I dare say, working downtown, overally, simply...
Read moreI love chipotle and go quite often, however I’ve never been to this location and it’s hands down the worst chipotle I’ve ever been. First time I went, I ordered in store and they didn’t have guacamole, I mean, how are you out of it with a nearly empty restaurant, around 3PM, plus it’s chipotle, how? Well, I didn’t mind then and ate my bowl. Next time I ordered on my phone. I usually wait 20 mins before picking it up. Ordered at 2:10 and got there at 2:30. Mind you, nearly empty, 3 people in line and a hand full sitting. I went in and asked for my order to which the employee told me that it wasn’t ready. 10 mins passed and she said we are waiting on the guacamole since we ran out, yep you’re reading it right, again empty place, not even closing time and no madre foca guacamole. I thought it has been 10 mins and maybe it will be ready. Another 5 mins passed and asked about it, they said it would be 10 more mins and then I lost my patience told them to give it to me without it and left. Horrible customer service and no communication. Someone before me freak the duck out and I thought he was having a bad day but no, I totally understand why he freak...
Read moreI have been coming to this location for the past year, every Monday-Thursday. During my visit today I politely asked the chipotle team member that was preparing my veggie bowl for extra rice BEFORE he placed the black beans on top of the brown rice. He ignored my request and placed the black beans on top of the initial scoop of rice and then proceeded to pour more rice on top of the black beans. I kindly expressed to him that I do not and will not pay for that bowl and he begin preparing a new one. Once he completed my order another chipotle team member, he identified himself as Gustavo the General Manager, walked over to us to express his frustration about the initial bowl. I communicated to the GM how I kindly asked the person preparing my bowl 3 times to please add more beans before the rice. The GM then rudely voiced how he believed it was my fault and rudely asked me to hurry up to checkout and leave his store. I’m hurt & disappointed because I loved this location before ever meeting/seeing the General Manager Gustavo at...
