i would like to start out by saying this place is a wonderful place full of kind hearted people and i really hope god blesses them. I am 8 months pregnant and I came on friday to pick up a grubhub order. As i was pulling out the driveway onto the street my whole engine and transmission fell out of my car (auto plaza irving the car lot gave us a faulty car) Some customers sitting outside and workers were able to push my car into the driveway since it stopped literally in the middle of the street. I had to wait till my boyfriend got off work so he can walk and come help with the car. As i was waiting the staff continuously checking up on me. They made sure i didnt overheat and i always had ice cold water. When my boyfriend did arrive we ended up staying in the restaurant parking lot for 3-4 hours trying to figure out what to do with the car and how to get it fixed/waiting for a tow company to come that would be willing to pick the engine and transmission up also. During these hours the manager and staff continuously checked up on us kept my hydrated due to me being pregnant and in the texas heat and also made sure my boyfriend was hydrated too. a couple workers came out and even tried helping fix the car but due to it being the engine and transmission nothing could be done by hand. Grubhub let me keep the order due to the car breaking down and I was able to try the garlic bread and the spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious. the pasta and sauce was flavorful and the meatballs were HUGE full of seasonings and were also jucy. the garlic bread was the best garlic bread i ever had. Once we get a new car and the baby is born i will definitely be back because this restaurant is the best restaurant ever. I have never felt such compassion in a LONG time from...

Read moreWhen I saw the menu I thought it was fantastic. However, when my friend and I showed up to the restaurant we were disappointed. Most of the pastas are meatless and it costs $7 or $8 TO ADD MEAT TO THE PASTA WHICH PUTS it in THE $20+ dollar range. This is not a deal breaker for phenomenal pasta. We had not eaten all day. We just had our morning coffee and tackled the day. He said that he was really hungry and asked the waitress for recommendations. She suggested an item that was not on the menu: a pasta trio of Alfredo fettuccini, lasagna, and a rigatoni/ziti style meat pasta for $20. He said ok, and I decided on the pesto rigatoni because I didn't want to go over $20. We also ordered an appetizer of cheese bread because we were so hungry.
When I ordered cheese bread I expected an Italian baguette with garlic butter spread, roasted to perfection with melty cheese over it. What we got is some Italian bread slices that you would get off of a sliced Italian bread at Kroger, with some butter and cheese over it. Something I would have made for myself after a glass of wine on Friday night. Not a $7 or $8 appetizer. I was kind of miffed, but I didn't say anything. Then came the pasta. The pesto rigatoni was ok but nothing to rave about. I tasted my friend's lasagna, and the tomato sauce was really sharp like straight tomato paste. Overall, it was a lackluster experience. For most of our meal there was no music..... Just a waiter looking over us from the step above. Very awkward. Overall, I would not recommend it. The pricing, portions, and quality are...
