Don Jorge's Cocina — Restaurant in Dallas

I really, really wanted to love this place based on the raving reviews but unfortunately, our visit fell flat. We got here at 10:30am and there was a steady stream of customers already there, but there was only one server attending to all of the tables, and he definitely looked flustered. There was a wait for everything: chips and salsa, drinks, order to get taken, food, checkins, everything. The guy came around 15-20mins after we arrived to take our order, and we got our order almost 40mins later. Our tortilla soup was missing tortilla strips, and we could not get ahold of our server because he was in and out of the kitchen with orders. Another server arrived around 11am and started attending to new tables, and I think she was the manager(?) also did as well. We ended up stopping one of them for help. No one greets you coming in, owner is standing just chatting with friends and dosent even attend to actual customers, kitchen staff is staring at us threw the cashier desk and Noone says anything! after about 5 minutes of standing waiting for someone to approach us, we get told by this rude waiter. Yall can sit yourselves. Food was okay. Waitress wasn't really attentive and all the condiments that were given to us, as ketchup bottle or syrup were all sticky and not wiped down. Tables and chairs had chips crumbs. Restrooms are nasty! No paper towels to dry your hands. Location is very small and needs a deep clean. Looks outdated and run down. I don't get to Dallas that often so, I decided to stop for Breakfast at Wonderful restaurant Don Jorge's Cocina. I had been here before about ten years ago. I decided to order the Chilaquiles Verdes with refried beans and scrambled eggs. While waiting on my order I enjoyed their freshly made tortilla chips still warm with salsa and a tasty side I haven't ever seen at any other restaurant it's a black bean dip which I Highly recommend. The Chilaquiles were Tender n Delicious and the flour tortillas are Hot n Fresh. Overall Great Food, Great Service, Great Value and Large Menu!
