Visiting the restaurant, Hamilton at Lorenzo, was really overdue for me. I’m constantly asked if it’s my hotel, because of our shared name, and I design for hospitality, and entertainment. NOPE, NOT MINE! I must say, I was surprised with the design; the blend of Cabaret, Hollywood Glam, and Art Deco, are a colorful delight, even with the use of cost effective textiles. This is a restaurant, so let’s Jump forward to flavor, presentation, and service. AMAZING! We enjoyed the Smoke Brisket Turnovers, Salmon, Risotto, Chocolate cake, and Bakalva; each served with a level of hospitality, expected with a name like Lorenzo. If you’re hungry, and enjoy good food, this is your spot! The prices are fair for the quality, and portions served. Hamilton at Lorenzo, has a generously stocked, and cozy bar, for those who prefer to sit there, and enjoy a delicious meal, and cocktails. The parking can be a bit confusing, so make sure you pay attention to the sign at the front door! See you soon!...
Read moreWe booked a private dining room for a birthday dinner for 14 or so.
The waitstaff was very disorganized in waiting on the group.
The impression I got is that the waitstaff assigned had little or no experience waiting on large parties.
They failed to move the meal through drinks, appetizers, entrees in any organized fashion.
As a result, there was no finite timing for the cake presentation and other parts of the dinner because the dinner party was left in various stages of their meal.
Disgraceful performance.
Worst yet, the waitstaff assumed there would be a single payer for the meal, like a corporate meal. This expectation is absurd, and not a standard practice in any of the numerous fine dining establishments in Dallas that I frequent.
The food itself is a terrible value for the price and quality.
I expect Prime Beef for a $70 ribeye. What was served was obvious Choice Beef.
I do not recommend Hamilton’s unless you simple do not want to...
Read moreHamilton’s restaurant was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, perfect for relaxing and enjoying handcrafted cocktails. John, the bartender, truly elevated the evening with his skillful creations. He made two wonderfully strong drinks that were both memorable and delicious. The first was an Espresso Martini, crafted with Mr. Black, rich and smooth with just the right kick of coffee flavor. The second was a Chocolate Martini, made with Mozart chocolate, creamy and indulgent without being overly sweet. John’s attention to detail and warm personality made the visit even...
