I ordered a sandwich and asked for no cheese on the sandwich.
I waited on the patio while they prepared it and came in about 10 minutes later and it was ready to go. I grabbed a bag of Doritos, paid for everything and headed back to work.
While I was driving, I cracked open the back of Doritos and started munching. They were stale, but that's not the point. As soon as I got back to work, I open up my sandwich and take two bites and realize something's off. Then I notice, CHEESE.
Gobs of cheese all over my sandwich when I specifically said no cheese. I packed it up. Rolled up the Doritos. Tossed t all in the bag. Drove back to the store. Told them I'm sorry but I asked for no cheese andI would like a refund.
She said I'm sorry that was probably my fault. I appreciated that.
She then said do you have your receipt. I said Yes it's in the bag, she opened the bag, picked up the chips and said "no I cannot refund this you already opened it." I told her "I opened it while I was driving before I knew the sandwich was wrong" and she said "no not my problem I can't refund it." I asked her how much they were and she said $2.
I stood there quietly fuming while she processed the refund of the sandwich. And handed me my receipt.
I decided I was going to call the manager or owner to let them know about my experience so I asked if the phone number at the top of the receipt was the phone number to the store. She said yes. I said are you the owner? She said I'm the shift leader. I said what's the owner's name, she said I can't tell you that. I said you can't tell me who owns this place? She said no. I said okay what's your name, she said I can't tell you that. So I took her picture.
I used to love Jersey Mike's. I will never be coming back to a Jersey Mike's ever again.

Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at Jersey Mike’s today. I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready at 12:30 PM. Upon arrival, I had to ask several employees for an update on my order, only to be met with vague responses and no clear answers.
Finally, after waiting until 1:10 PM, I received my sandwich, which had apparently been sitting for several minutes. To make matters worse, there was no apology from the staff for the delay. Instead, I was curtly told to "grab your own chips" on my way out.
This level of service is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. So much for trying to grab a quick lunch during my lunch hour. I will definitely think twice before returning to...
