My visit to this location was beyond disappointing. My first issue was that it took 7 minutes before my order was even taken. The wait for another lady who arrived after me was about 10 mins. I ordered a large potato wedges, 2 empanadas, and an order of street tacos. I asked for everything to be fresh because my wife is pregnant and wouldn’t eat it. I didn’t wanna waste my time or money so I was very specific. The shift lead promised me that it would be fresh. He was ready kind. I waited for a while, almost 20 minutes. Once I made it home my wife inspected the food and flipped her lid. The street tacos and empanadas were old and hard. The tacos were so old the cheese harden and the taco was like a baby’s teething ring, tough. I didn’t have the time to go back because I have a busy schedule. However, today I had time to visit. As I got out of my car A KFC employee was asking me for a few dollars so that he can get home on the bus. I explained to him that I hardly ever carry cash and I’m sorry that I couldn’t help him. When I made it inside, I immediately spoke with the person who said that they he was a manager. His name he said was Leonard. I asked him how his day was going and tried to shake his hand. He told me no and asked me what my issue was. I disregarded his rude welcoming, and proceeded to express The details of my last visit. Before I can explain what was going on, he cut me off and said tell me what do you want. I asked him was there an issue did I say something that offended him because his demeanor and attitude was very ugly. He said no and apologized, so I let it go and proceeded to tell him what was going on. I explained to him that I didn’t want a refund. I didn’t want my food remade. I was just trying to give some information about my experience. As I explained to him what was going on, he stopped me again and told me that they don’t sell street tacos. I explained to him that that’s what I purchased. It was a special item that was For a limited time and it was a few weeks ago. I also explained to him that I purchased two empanadas as well. He stopped me again and explained to me that he only sold it about six empanadas within the last week. I explained to him that I thought it was some type of language barrier because he wasn’t fully understanding what I was saying I didn’t explain to him again that it was about 2- 3 weeks ago. So he began to get frustrated again and he asked me if I had a receipt. I explained that I did but it’s at home. I say, however I can bring it back up If you like. I was confused on why he asked for the receipt because I didn’t request a refund nor did I want the food remade. So he cut me off again and he explained to me that he can take a look at my credit card statement. That’s when I got frustrated. Because I had to explain to him again I didn’t require a refund nor did I want the food remade because I wasn’t worrying about the money. I was trying to explain to him about my experience. He disregarded what I said then he said just show me the statement so I showed them the statement of my American Express. It showed two different transactions at that location. It even showed the address where it was purchased, which was the current location so then he proceeded to ask me why was it such a big deal that I want my money back? I explained to him that I didn’t want a refund. I just wanted to give some information. He open the drawer and give me my money back. I was confused because that’s wasn't my goal. He proceeded to make fun and say well “I thought you was a big money man why do you need this $17 and some change”. I gave him an invite to discuss the matter outside in the parking lot to express my concern , which he declined unfortunately. I truly believe that we could have came to a sensible. This location needs to work on the...
Read moreSo I stopped here because we had to use the restroom and figured we would get something to eat while we were stopped (we were traveling). FYI, it's also a Taco Bell. It looks like this one had probably been here a while and is on the waiting list to get remodeled because everything looks like it's gotten quite a bit of use. Now, the bathroom, that was...interesting. First off, and I know this isn't really their fault, but there were two girls doing their makeup, it sounded like one of them was teaching the other. Secondly, the stall my mother-in-law went into, there were only two stalls, she said there was makeup all over the place, including on the toilet seat... The mirror is old and scratched, the sink is a one person sink that seems a little worse for wear and the air dryer did almost nothing to dry our hands, I'm pretty sure you could see my handprints on my butt from wiping my wet hands on them. The food was made very quickly after ordering, and the lady corrected my mother-in-law's order without hesitation and without making a deal about it. My order was the only one I have complaint about, I ordered a crunchwrap that was poorly put together, it looked like half of my crunchwrap was empty, it was floppy and it was incredibly hard to eat without wearing some of it. So needless to say, we will not be making a stop there on our...
Read moreAbsolutely ridiculous experience. The app had a deal for 8 free pieces or tenders if you spend $15. We tried to order multiple times—it said the payment failed, but it charged my credit card FOUR TIMES for $40.04 each. The store manager said he couldn’t honor the app deal in person, couldn’t refund the failed charges, and basically told us we were out of luck.
So we ended up spending $51.72 out of pocket, no deal honored, and only ordered 4 tenders—but they only gave us TWO. They don’t answer the phone (it just hangs up on you), so we had to drive back. The manager gave us 4 more tenders, but argued with my partner, insisting he packed 4 the first time. No. There were only two. We wouldn’t have driven back if we weren’t sure.
Between the multiple charges, missing food, and arguing with customers instead of owning the mistake, this was a huge disappointment. I want my money back for the failed orders and a real apology.
Update: KFC gave us a $25 gift certificate. That was nice of them. But when we tried to use it, no one knew how to redeem it and once they did finally find someone who could figure it out they gave us the food, but when we got home, once again there was only 3 tenders instead of four. I didn't bother to complain again. We won't be back, so another gift certificate...
