La La Land — Restaurant in Dallas

I’ve always loved La La Land as a brand, the banana matcha and nutella toast are truly delicious. However, I would not recommend this particular location based on a negative experience.

On my most recent visit, I was simply trying to enjoy my morning when I was disrupted by a girl named Daisy. She was unnecessarily loud, singing off-key, and screaming, behavior that felt extremely out of place for a coffee shop environment, especially in the AM. As someone who is easily overstimulated, it was overwhelming and honestly obnoxious. Her energy, while perhaps well-intentioned, felt misplaced and disruptive, especially as other team members were visibly working hard while she appeared to be doing very little.

It made it difficult to relax or enjoy my visit. I’m genuinely annoyed with this location. It’s very frustrating and disappointing that this is the only location that is on my way to work

I’m disappointed because I genuinely love La La Land and everything the company stands for. If you’re someone who enjoys loud music, disruptive energy, and chaotic vibes in the morning, this location may suit you. But if you’re looking for a peaceful, professional coffee shop experience — I suggest visiting another La La Land location or a different café altogether.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location because of Daisy she was not helping the other staff...

I usually enjoy La La Land and visit once or twice a week at other locations without any issues. Unfortunately, this specific location has been disappointing both times I’ve tried it. On my first visit, the customer service felt rushed and dismissive. The staff were chatting among themselves, it took a long time to get my drink, and they started cleaning up almost an hour before closing—which gave the impression that customers weren’t really welcome. I decided to give this location another chance today, but my lavender matcha didn’t taste good, and the barista was actually arguing with a customer while I was there. It really gave off the vibe that they’re doing customers a favor instead of providing good service. I love La La Land, but this location doesn’t live up to the standard I’ve experienced elsewhere. If you order a drink online or in person at this location, give yourself at least 30 minutes before picking it up, because they usually take about 30–45 minutes to make...

I usually love la la land but i tried this one on my lunch break as i was passing through and ordered only a water cup and one drink but yet it took 25 minutes for it to come out. When i arrived, there was not many people at all, maybe 3 waiting which were all tended to. however, it got the point of 20 minutes and multiple mobile orders coming and getting taken care of and people who ordered after me were getting their drinks. I am very understanding when it comes to places being busy but 25 minutes for a small drink is insane! Starbucks and other coffee places can pop out tons of mobile orders+drive through+inside orders within minutes but a la la land with no drive through is struggling with a full staff for one drink? the water alone took 20 minutes to come out.
