Mr. X is located inside of XOXO... Once you went to the restaurant, walk to the back towards the bookcase. It was a fun experience...beautifully decorated, nice decor, friendly staff, on the smaller side, but it's a cocktail bar, so that's to be expected. Dress to impress and know that the lighting is unforgiving when it comes to taking pics, so if you wear make up - wear it right! I went on a Thursday night, which was R&B night (ladies night, free admission and ladies get champagne). I arrived early before it got too packed. By about 11pm, there was no walking room. If that's your type of environment, you'll love it! It is free to get in, but you'll make up for it at the bar. Drinks are served in those short, clear plastic cups that fan out at the top... I ordered Titos soda and a Makers Coke - $35. Ordered another Tito's soda and Hennessey Coke and paid another $35. Also, as an fyi, 20% gratuity is automatically wrapped into your tab. They don't try to be sneaky about it... The bartenders let you know (if you can hear what they're saying) lol. Lastly, I didn't see many options for parking. I valeted. It costs $10. Valet drivers were friendly and quick. I left before the night ended, there were about three people before me. I only waited about 3 minutes for the valet to retrieve my car. Overall, a great time. 3 stars because the cost of the drink doesn't align...
Read moreThe place was nice but it was so packed. The door people couldn’t tell me where my section was and I had to maneuver through crowds of people in the dark to find it. Then one I got to my section (which was in the middle of the club) the 2 couches were facing each other with the tables in the middle, but I couldn’t even sit because the couches were pushed up to the tables leaving no leg room. I couldn’t move the couches back because everyone was sitting around the outside of the couches on the backs and arms. It took an hour before a waitress came and when she did, she was rude in asking for a card right away before we even could order anything or ask to move the couches back. That was a distracting start...
Read moreThis was the most fun I had in Dallas. I went on a Monday night... At 11:50pm it was only me and a small group of like 5. I was thinking where are the ppl. The dj just had a playlist going and it was dead. By 12:30 it was JUMPING!
Everyone came all of a sudden... And they came to Party!!! The drinks were cheap and STRONG!! The DJ came to work understanding the assignment!!
SO MUCH FUN. The only thing that was lacking was that they did not sell food. Which was shocking because it's adjacent to a restaurant. However it ddnt take away from the experience
Kinda small but 10/10 recommended. (at...
