My husband and I have been taking our cars here since we moved to Dallas, and have always been impressed with the extraordinary customer service, kindness, and integrity of the staff. They are fair and honest, and tell you like it is. This last week, I took my car in to get the brakes looked at because I had suspected something was wrong. They thoroughly inspected it, put it up on the machine and took the wheels off, and test drove it multiple times to simulate the issue I described, and found it was working as normal. When I went to pick it up, they gave me a thorough report of all they had tested and tried, and gave me their estimate of the life left on the brakes. Turned out that the brakes were perfectly fine and I didnāt need any work done. John didnāt charge me a single penny for all the investigative work they did to confirm there was no issue. These guys do not invent issues just to charge you to fix them - they are honest and truthful. Oh, and they also refilled my tires with air (my tire pressure warning light had been on for a while)! Anyway, I came here because I had a screw in my tire and wanted to get the tire patched before the long commute home. This place just happened to be a block from the office. I told them when I dropped my car off that the valve stem caps had a special lock on them that needed a tiny hex wrench was needed to unlock it and they could find it in the glove box. When I go to pick up the car, I noticed the valve stem was forced off with a wrench and completely screwed up the cap as well as the stem. When I go to talk to the guy inside, he doesnāt recognize me even though I dropped my keys with him an hour before. They're usually able to do same day as long as my car is in early enough. They've been great at communicating which repairs are essential and which can wait. Example: my car was shaking badly at idle. They diagnosed degraded engine mounts installed by my previous mechanic to fix a similar problem several years ago. Dunlap could easily have told me that all 8 needed to be replaced, but instead charged me for just the 4 that were actually damaged. The problem was fixed and hasn't returned.
