My husband took me here for my birthday and I chose this place from suggestion of a friend. I love the atmosphere and the extended back area where they have the patio, pool, and game room area. The food however was not that good to me.
Appetizer: Brisket fries, these were decent, the flavor of the brisket was okay, a little bland. It seemed like the used the frozen crispy fries and canned/condensed cheese. Entree: 1. Baked potato with brisket and fixins. Husband said it was ok, the potato was definitely under cooked so it was quite hard. The flavor of the brisket was the same as above. Sour cream chicken enchiladas unfortunately was dry, the corn tortilla used was hard on the edges, the flavor was not good, the rice was mushy, the beans were very bland, and the taco was full of greese/oil. (Unfortunately this dish and probably a combo of dessert made me sick when I got home). Dessert: Sopapilla cheesecake, the flavor was actually good, however, the texture of the cheesecake and sopapilla crust could have been better, it was too soft and soggy. The cheesecake was more like a pudding also. Service: it was a little slow, I think there was only 3 people working. It was not busy at all the night we came but I guess it was ok since it gave some time for me and the hubs to mingle with each other. After informing them that we did not like the food, the manager did try to rectify it and gave us a complimentary birthday dessert and removed the items off the bill, so I appreciated that.
I would have given it a higher star however majority of the food made it disappointing. I would at least come back for the atmosphere and try...

I really enjoyed myself and had a great time, but what wasn't explained to me was that we would be outside in a tint, in 90-degree weather with NO AC! I mean the scene is beautiful. It has the beayiful pool and the atmosphere puts you in the mind of a pool party, but when you spend an hour and a half straightening your hair, just to become a walking sweaty cotton ball, we have a problem! It was SO HOT! I spent $30 on 2 of the very small clear party cups, with cranberry juice and crown apple, and had to walk 2 blocks because I didn't want to pay $60 for valet. Oh yeah, ladies don't even wear hills! Put on you most comfortable FLATS because if you don't pay the $60 to valet, you will have to walk from the BACK of the building ( where the exit is) to the front of the building, and a block or 3 to your car! I will go back, but I will be very prepared! Hair definitely goes up, the shorted short I have, flats, and a fan! And I'm only...
