FANTASTIC!!!
Food: We ordered the Alfredo chicken pasta, Pesto chicken pasta, Parmesan chicken pasta and the shrimp pasta along with an appetizer of truffle butter garlic bread and calamari.
Pastas - The pastas were absolutely perfect. Well cooked, fresh and beautifully seasoned. The flavors were on point. More than enough food with each bowl. 5 out of 5.
Truffle butter bread - This has to be the best bread I have ever eaten. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The truffle butter was absolutely amazing. Perfect amount for the four of us. 5 out of 5
Calamari - From what my wife and daughter told me, it too was too of the line. It was served with pickled cauliflower. I do not eat seafood so I can not review it accurately. I do know there was none left over so, I would say it was good also.
Italian Donuts - We did get dessert for my bday and it was good as well. I never thought I would say this but, I think it had to much sugar on top of the donuts. It was still really good. We shared between four people and it was plenty. 4 out of 5
Service: Our waiter was “Jaddi” and he was top of the line as well. He knew the menu back and forward and was very kind and attentive. The hostess was very kind as well. She made some recommendations to which we tried and I am glad we did. 5 out of 5
Atmosphere: The atmosphere was very elegant. Plenty seating. They did not have any booths available which was no problem because they have stool seats and outside seating as well. Very clean from what I could tell. The one thing I thought was a nice touch was the glass that separates the dining room and the kitchen. This allows you to see what’s being done in the kitchen at all times. 5 out of 5
Pricing - the pricing was not cheap. Each entree was about $20 each. I would absolutely come back here because you often get what you pay for and we received quality food and service that was unlike any place I have been in a while.
Overall, this place was really a gift to us on Father’s Day. A friend recommended the place while we were walking around the mall about to go to another restaurant. I am so glad we chose this one instead. If you want to go on a date with your wife or entire family, I would recommend checking this place...
Read moreI love North Italia, but unfortunately, I was disappointed in my most recent visit. This was my first time at this location, and it didn’t measure up to the others.
I came in with a few girls friends on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty empty; however, our server kept disappearing for a long time, and we could never find her. She did apologize when she came back, but then again, the ghosting continued. I will assume she was busy with other tables.
Next, we ordered the calamari and grilled bread and olive oil for starters and the Prosciutto, Pig, and Margherita pizzas.
I’m unsure if the oven's temperature was too high, but everything was burnt, primarily the prosciutto pizza. It honestly tasted like cardboard, and no one could bite into it. After waiting what felt like forever for our server to come around, we let her know, and she said they would rush one back out. Okay, cool, that works.
Well, that did not happen, and when she came back and said it’d be another 3 minutes we didn’t see her for at least another 15 and when she came back, she apologized and said the chef told her that, but it’s actually coming out now.
The second pizza wasn’t overcooked, but it also was off. Idk if they have a new person back in the kitchen, but the Nashville location knocked this out of the park, so I guess I had unrealized high expectations, and I felt embarrassed for recommending this place for a late lunch. Nothing stood out, yet every other time I tried it, it was delicious.
I will say, our server Issi was very friendly and I think she meant well, she let us know the manager comped the prosciutto pizza and apologized for everything, so that helped, but as someone who dines out a lot, I’m would prefer a better experience for my friends than a comped pizza.
I may give them another chance, but not any time soon. 4/10 do...
Read moreLet me start by saying we LOVE North Italia! Since living in Dallas, we have been to this location quite a few times since we live close. We come here for the pizza and variety of pastaThey have a great Margherita pizza and we get it each time we come. Of all the times I've been, our recent visit this past Sunday was definitely the most memorable experience we've had! We booked a reservation and were able to get a table with a short wait. When seated, our server, Iyapo, came to greet us. He made us aware ahead of time that he was a bit busy and would be back soon. He had a few big tables that were all birthdays. We have been servers so we understand and we came to hang out anyways. He was so prompt and didn't forget about us once! We love to try new things so we asked for his recommendation and what he thought about the Tuscan Half Chicken and he swore by it, so we got it! And he was right! It was amazing! Since we go the chicken and it was busy, it was taking a bit longer than expected (we hadn't noticed) and one of the managers came over and gave us a round of drinks on the house for the wait. It was appreciated even though we said they didn't have to. After finishing our dish, Iyapo came back around to see how we liked it. While telling him about it, we mentioned we were in to celebrate not only our anniversary, but also my spouses birthday as well as an early Valentine's Day date. Iyapo quickly offered us a complementary desert for my spouses bday. We asked for the tiramisu but Iyapo recommended the seasonal dessert which was the apple cake w/creme fresh. It was a bit too rich for me and I also do not like apples but I was up for trying and it was good! My spouse def loved it! All around, the best night ever! Definitely stop in and get served by...
