We recently dined at this restaurant as a group of five (four adults and a toddler) to celebrate my birthday, and our experience was incredibly disappointing. We had made a reservation online, specifically requesting a booth, and were excited for a special evening. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the restaurant’s ambiance, and the server was fantastic. The food, including appetizers, sushi rolls, and cocktails, was also excellent. However, we were surprised that there was no kids’ menu, forcing us to order a $30 meal for our toddler.
The evening took a turn after dinner when my husband ordered two Old Fashioneds and dessert. About 10 minutes later, the manager approached us and informed us that another group was waiting for our table and that they couldn’t bring us the drinks or dessert due to a supposed 3-hour time limit for tables. She suggested we move to the bar, which was shocking and inconsiderate, especially since we had a toddler with us. When we asked if we could finish our drinks and dessert outside, she told us we’d have to be put on a waiting list, which made no sense given our ongoing dining experience.
The manager’s handling of the situation was unprofessional, and her attitude was argumentative when we expressed our dissatisfaction. To add to the unpleasantness, her hygiene was questionable. This is not how paying guests, especially those with a bill nearing $400, should be treated. We were never informed about a time limit when we arrived, and the way we were asked to leave felt extremely disrespectful. I would not recommend this restaurant for any special occasion, as they clearly do not know how to treat their guests properly. This was a humiliating experience, and we will not...

TEN is the place - twenty out of...
Read moreI was headed to the Tex Mex restaurant that sits behind TEN but the decor stuck out and pulled me in. Saw it was sushi and the plot thickens. After we got inside we feel in love. The atmosphere there is so welcoming. The waitress and staff there were well dressed. I loved the diversity of the staff as well. Well buttoned up and clean cut but with a flare.
We waited for a bit for outside seating, took a bit longer than was told. I took the opportunity to peak around inside.
TINA is the server you want!!!! TINA is super super nice, well spoken, friendly, gives “a girls girl “ vibe, helpful, knowledgeable of the menu, and I never saw her not smiling.
The drinks were so good. We had the lychee mocktail and the tequila mockingbird. Very pretty and tasty drinks. We had the chicken gyoza they were so pretty. The dipping sauce was at the bottom of the bowl and no it didn’t mess them up. The presentation was phenomenal on all the food. The house miso soup was very good as well. The rice in it kind of fills you up quick so be careful. Our sushi was the black widow and the lion king.
Children are welcome. It’s downtown, so parking is street and nearby parking garages. The garages are not free. Can’t recall if there were a few steps upon entry or if there was a ramp like walk up. My apologies
Overall nice fun vibrant experience and I would love to...
