I’ve eaten before and liked the food. But I probably won’t ever be back. The staff was so unbelievably rude, it was like being in a movie where they look you up and down and decide you aren’t dressed nicely enough for them to be polite to you. My party and I weren’t as fancy as some patrons, but we were dressed nicely enough for a concert at the Meyerson. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life. I told a different friend my experience, someone I consider very elegant, and she said when she’s eaten at the Meyerson, the food staff was So snotty and rude that she had to complain. To the podium staff and manager: you seat people at restaurants and serve them. You’re not performing brain surgery. Maybe get over yourself and be kind to everyone. To the management of the Meyerson: you might want to totally clean house and get all new staff for Opus, and begin with the manager and his staff. That kind of attitude starts at the top down. You want to know something funny? The people they were looking down their noses at were a group of attorneys, which I mention since they appear to care about status over...
Read moreI would like to compare this fine dining experience to other fine dining my wife and I have experienced in Dallas, unfortunately the closest I can come is to say I have eaten better food at Denny's. The chicken was under cooked on the left side while the right side of the breast was so dry we could have used it for saw dust. The gravy was as bad. The salmon was a joke, it had a deep smelly order and was only warm. The biscuits, well how do you mess up biscuits, they did. also served something they called sugar Ham. I have seen Kleenex tissue thicker then what they cut for you. The deserts were right out of a box. the Oreo cheese cake, well the Orea was mush. what shame they call this Fine Dining and it represents the Dallas Symphony which is great. Please don't waste your time here, eat at a real...
Read moreWhat a great place to eat before the symphony! We went for “Uptown Nights” and it was incredible! We parked in the garage and was able to elevator up to the main level easily which is where opus was and the symphony is on the next level up from there. We got seated right away at opus. We had a reservation. We enjoyed a cold course, a main course and a desert course all self serve. We walked the hall for a bit and was then ushered to our seats. It’s a lovey venue. It was a bit challenging when we left because the opera had just let out as well so traffic was a bit thick but all in all it was a wonderful experience and we will absolutely...
