Smoothie King — Restaurant in Dallas

This is a terrible Smoothie King in every way. I came in to get a smoothie for lunch & a healthy snack for when I work tonight & they literally had no snacks at all like the other locations (see pic), just empty shelves. They don’t take cash when that is what I wanted use & the girl ringing me up laughed when I told her why I needed to use cash, which was not funny. I order the same smoothie I always do & they give me a terrible tasting smoothie that tastes nothing like the one I always order and after drinking a few sips, I come back in & ask them to fix it & the girl making it admits that it tastes weird because they are out of the keto powder & gave me some other powder that is not diet & I am sure full of carbs & calories, so they can’t actually make my keto smoothie. If I had not said anything & drank the rest of that smoothie, I would’ve completely blown my strict diet today & it would’ve been a waste of an entire day of my diet. I was in a major hurry, which is why I chose to have a smoothie for lunch in the first place & she proceeds to take 10 minutes to refund my money. I don’t understand this location. You don’t take phone orders but when you place a online order, it takes forever for them to make it. I normally go to the other Forest Lane location because they allow phone orders but I had a doordash credit and this location was the only nearby location on the app so I figured why not. It took them over 25 minutes to make my order… I got there at the 20 minute mark and I saw the base of my smoothie bowl sitting in the blender area while they made other orders. My smoothie bowl was melting so bad to the point where I had to put it in the freezer at work. Mind you, I work 2 minutes away. For something that was made in front of me, it shouldn’t be that melted.

The service at the location down the street is super quick and puts your item in the freezer till you arrive. Its also always 1 person working in there opposed to the 2 slow workers at this location.
