To Start I Must Say I Have Been Looking For a Great Halal Food Spot For Years Here In Connecticut and to My Surprise I Finally Found This Chain Restaurant Here In Danbury That Recently Opened. I ordered the Lamb over Rice and Chicken Over Rice For Me and My Girlfriend and For My Daughter I Got The Nuggets and Fries and Also a Philly CheeseSteak Sandwich. The Food I Must Say Is Actually Really Good Definitely Had The Taste of New York That I Have Been Missing! The Chicken And Lamb Over Rice I give it a 8.5/10 and the Fries and Nuggets I Give it a 8/10 and the CheeseSteak I give it a 8.5/10 only thing that I really needed extra with that CheeseSteak was some more cheese, so Definitely next time I'll definitely Ask For More of that so Should you. Overall, the experience was really good and friendly with the workers and everything. I'll definitely be going back and trying out the other options on the menu they have. As for the price of the Menu Options, it's Fairly Okay and Not too Over Priced. So If You Are looking for a good Halal Food Spot, Shah's is definitely the Place To Go and I Gurantee You Won't be...

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this restaurant, and it wasn’t just about the food. When I visited, I found several flyers from this establishment stuffed on my car’s door handle, causing scratches to the handle and surrounding area. This level of disregard for customers’ property is unacceptable.

Unfortunately, the food itself was equally frustrating. My order arrived cold and was missing items, showing a clear lack of attention to detail. What I did receive tasted subpar, nowhere near what I expected based on their advertising.

With this combination of poor food quality, incomplete orders, and lack of respect for customers’ property, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. I’m taking further steps by reaching out to the city about the damage caused by their flyers. This place needs to seriously rethink its approach...

I was very excited for a new halal food chain in Danbury was getting tired of the food truck on Main Street and when I first tried here the staff was very welcoming and nice. I got a lamb gyro over rice and they asked me what topping I want on it which was a different yet unique experience I got all the different topping and their white and hot sauce and the total was 12.99$ which was not bad but for the portion amount it was kinda upsetting . I tried it and it was good but the topping kinda overpowered the taste of the gyro itself but the lamb was well cooked and was juicy and the rice was different too from other places in shah’s they put basmati rice instead of yellow rice which was really good.
