Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Davie

Went here while visiting with my family. Ordered an appetizer(tumbleweed) which took over 15 mins to get, after we got our appetizer our food came out 3 minutes later so we didn’t even get to enjoy it. We saw our server 3 times-once to order drinks-once to order food- and then the last time to give us our check. It didn’t seem busy in the restaurant he just seemed unaware and unavailable walking by us and not stopping to check in. Our drinks went empty through our dinning experience. When we got our check we noticed a 0.49 up charge for juice, which was strange because we didn’t order juice our child ordered milk which came with the kids meal and was already noted on the receipt for 0.00. We asked our server why there was the up charge and he said he wasn’t sure and he would check. A couple minutes goes by and he comes back and says it his fault there’s an up charge for “milk” which he didn’t tell us about so he was going to “take care of us” He pulls out 0.50 out of his pocket and put it on the table in front of us. Which is not only insulting but unprofessional. He claims that he took care of us and we’re good here and walks away. We left the 0.50 on the table and left while walking out we noticed 2 managers hanging out outside smoking cigarettes and joking around. We noticed a survey to fill out on our receipt so we went through the process. The next morning a lady manager called she asked what happened like she didn’t know even know I explained everything on the survey. She said that he did everything he could and he was in the right and she can’t speak to her manager actions because they have “nightly tasks to do” she asked if we visit frequently and I told her probably not for at least a year and she replied with you might get an email with a coupon or something from upper management. She also said the kids menu clearly states that milk is and up charge.

Flanigan’s is my family’s favorite restaurant when we visit but this location disgraces the company’s reputation.

Not getting management to take the up charge off the bill was the servers first mistake although it’s hard to find management if they’re outside smoking.

The 2nd is having management call a customer who is upset and siding with their associates and not making it right.

Get your facts straight before lying to customers update your Point of sale computers to reflect charges along with menus.

Date 2/8/23 Yes, I went back for the big Daddy Burger, Alexx was our server and always helpful to serve us when we came. Kudos to Alexx, the Kool server, and the whole staff at Flanigan's is GREAT! The Big Daddy Burger is on Mount Burger of burgers. Simple, but tasty.

Date: 2/17/23 Tonight I tasted a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED food choice, for me, it was too salty, wet, and a little on the sloppy side. Even though the waiter did not recommend the food choice the expression on his face when he asked me how do you like it I guess he thought that I might have loved the HIGHLY RECOMMENDED food choice, but unfortunately, I did not tonight. That food choice was the PHILLY CHEESE STEAK sandwich.

Date: 3/26/23 It's Sunday, and back at Flanigan's for a quick bite. Today we meet JAMIE one of the servers here. It was a pleasure to meet her and she was AWESOME! Only works Sunday from my understanding, but she makes the best of it. From our observation, she was not only attentive to our table but at other guests' tables as well. If you ever get a chance to meet her you will feel a good energy right away and she did ALL WITH A SMILE. We love that. SHOUT OUT to JAMIE, the taste of the food was better because of her pleasant energy. Also, SHOUT OUT to ALEXX as well.

7/6/23 Flanigan's is my go-to place for comfort food. Reluctantly, I hate to say this about my Flanigan's but the sweet tea, especially at the Davie restaurant it's not sweet tea, it is water with sugar no tea. I need the real brewed sweet tea at Flanigan's stop being lazy and cheap your restaurant chain is full every night.🙏🏽🥺

10/12/23 Another night at Fanigan's for a quick BIG DADDY BURGER always DELICIOUS! Talia was my server that night and Kathy was the manager they both possessed a customer service-driven attitude that perfectly embodied Flanigan's culture and Beyond. Talia not only exuded a warm and friendly demeanor but also provided impeccable food recommendations and service. I would be delighted to have her as my server again...

I have been to this place quite a few times. My last visit, yesterday, was horrible. I ordered the 10 wings for $16. The lady asked me if I wanted sauce with it because That's usually what you GET, I asked blue cheese and ranch. She didn't tell me that she was going to charge me for the ranch, that was in a 2 oz cup filled up halfway. I paid a dollar for 1 oz of ranch. That's not the worst part. I'm so mad at myself for not taking a picture. I didn't want to get my party I was with upset, so I didn't say anything and ate it anyways, but the 10 wings I got were absolutely burnt to a crisp. Even my party next to me said "your wings are burnt". They were literally black. Either they haven't changed the oil in days or just didn't care. I didn't say anything, I do NOT return food ever to the kitchen. I work around food and I'm not stupid. I was told that Flanagan's is known for their wings. If these are the wings that they're known for, you're better off going to Winn-Dixie's hot case. I just couldn't believe she gave me burnt wings and didn't even bat an eye. On top of it the server sucked. I was extremely kind and thanked her and she barely spoke to me; only to one person in my party. A child in my party asked for another bracelet that they give to kids because his sister didn't get one. She ignored him. Poor kid felt so awkward since he's shy in the first place. Never came back and offer to refill our drinks, and did not come back and ask how we were doing....
