Beaches Daytona — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Our 1st experience with this new Daytona Beach venue. We came for dinner and drinks on a Wednesday night. They have karaoke from 7 to 10. They've only bern open for about 3 weeks and it shows. Our waitress, Heather was nice but didnt know prices for things like a pitcher of beer or a side of french fries. There were definitely hits and misses. The hits: Garlic truffle smashed potatoes were GREAT! Complimentary chips & salsa! Wonderful, tasty salsa with beans & corn! A real treat! THE Onion Rings were some of the best I've had in a very long time! Served with a nice dipping sauce with a kick. The misses: Asparagus side order. Tree trunks of asparagus that were about as tender as a tree trunk! Had a promise of flavor but basically inedible. Pork rib special. The ribs had a nice flavor. Unfortunately they were tough and dry and barely warm. Draft beer was $4 for a full pint; at least for Bud Light & Landshark. I Just Moved Back On Beach Side Again ,,, Everything Is So Much Different ,,,, Even Main Street !!!! But I Stoped In To Beaches To Have A Cup Of Coffee, I Sat Outside So I Could Smoke ?? The Coffee Was Really Good I Notaced It Wasent Like Your Reaguler ☕️ It Had A Realy Nice Taste To It And Was Very Good , But It Wasent In A Mug It Was Like The Old Lady Tea 🍵 Cups ,, So When I Was Done I Asked For The Recite It Was $ 4.00 For The Coffee ☕️ So I Left The Money On The Table With A Very Decient Tip ! I Went Back The Outher Day I Needed Change For This Votran That I Use For Transportation Because Halifax Hospital Messed Up My Left Leg I Can't Straten My Leg From Laying In The Hallway For Three Days Watening On A Doctor? And The Same Lady That Wated On Me Just Looked At Me And Screamed At Me And Said We Dont Have Change ????? I Could Not Belive Her ???? Hidden gem and not your typical Daytona Beach restaurant and Bar. Set in a lively pastel strip consisting of a liquor store, Beaches restaurant and self serve car wash with exterior bathrooms as well as interior bathrooms, this spot offers a quality and fresh seafood fare that is not only reasonably priced (for Daytona) but super delicious. We had the Mahi and Cod sandwiches with hushpuppies, fries, smoked fish dip, coconut shrimp and crab cakes. Food was absolutely delicious on every item.

Nicholla, our server was very attentive and pleasant. The bartender was inviting and very friendly. Service was normal for the fathers day crowd so wait time wasn't extraordinary. The atmosphere is that of inside of a steel ship with amazing detail to artwork and design reminiscent of a disney attraction. So, so COOL for Daytona. During cool or evening hours 3 large garage doors open to give it the quintessential Daytona Beach restaurant feel, relaxing and salt air with cold beverages.
