Buddy’s Pizza is located in a nice neighborhood in downtown Dearborn. They have plenty of parking with a public parking lot adjacent to the Pizzeria. Once inside the hostess was quick with a smile and got us seated. The smells of fresh pizza filled the air and really got me excited to see the menu. Our waiter, Noah, was handling several tables but was over to see us within just a couple of minutes to get our drink order, and offer us apps. We ordered Buddy’s famous garlic bread sticks (pics below). They came fairly quickly. As a person who enjoys garlic, I struggled to taste the garlic once I used some of the marinara sauce. The marinara sauce is a 10 out of 10! Amazing flavors and really made the garlic breadsticks a winner. The bread was very fresh and enjoyable. The menu has something for everyone and it all seemed fairly priced. Great description of the fresh ingredients and made choosing pretty straight forward. My buddy and I each ordered our own 4 square pizzas. They came hot and fresh in about 10-15 minutes. The toppings were plentiful, the cheese was amazing! YES! The cheese is so fresh you can actually taste the cheese. The sauce is incredible and placed on each square in the unique ways of Detroit square pizza. Very filling and and the crust lives up to its reputation. It was very filling so I was able to take some home with us. Our waiter took great care of us. He kept our glasses filled, checked on us a couple time, brought extra napkins and seemed fairly friendly. Over all a great experience! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars (or 5 cheese shakers on my rating scale) is because I would have liked to taste the fresh garlic on the garlic bread sticks. I would definitely recommend Buddy’s Pizza and I would encourage you to bring both friends and family here. Kids would do well here and easily find something on the menu. In total, I give it 4 cheese shakers! 🫙🫙🫙🫙

Good stuff! I heard this was a Detroit stspke that needed to be among my USA pizza shop reviews. Glad I came by. <$15 = 4square, reg. crust, mushroom, blk olive... and tip. So, Im not from here, I got in a car at the airport, mapped out the nearest Buddy's, placed an order on the company site. I checked multiple times - ordered at correct address. After I paid it asked if I needed directions to Military Ave... wait, I mapped on Michigan Ave. Glad I phoned, before just canceling the order. The lady that answered the phone so kindly helped me learn Buddy's is at the intersection... oh geez. So, good pizza, about the size of a sheet or paper... or more appropriately, a half-ream of paper... reg crust is delightfully about 1/2 - 3/4 in thick. It has that cheesy greasy bubbly almost fried edge to it, that Ive not had for years (probably "health food" wink... but not why I visited.) Fresh mushrooms like the menu said, but I was surprized to see hey were either quite small shrooms, or cut in small niblet pieces. Black Olives were nicely plentiful. Sauce on top was thick enough it didn't run off, and thin enough it almost felt like it just oozed out of normal pizza when you bit in. I looked for cannoli, but saw tiramisu (I'm weening myself, or would have tried it). I liked the "routine" vibe in the pick up area... like all the customers had bern there a million times before, and knew exactly how to get in / get out all business, but never rude. Great job.

BUDDY’S PIZZA- DEARBORN, MI Vibes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - our waitress was very sweet & offered suggestions which we appreciated since it was our first time. Kind of loud for a 2pm Thurs but service was timely. This is the original location but there are now 20 restaurants from what I understand. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - we split an 8pc half regular pepperoni & half Detroit pep. It was delicious but HEAVY. The Wisconsin block cheese really made it. It reminded me of a deep dish pan pizza with the ninja turtle stretchy cheese! We also split loaded cheese fries, buddy bread, minestrone soup (which was more like a tomato bisque plus the veggies but still good) & my mom had a Greek salad. Accessibility: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - paved parking lot with enough accessible parking spots plus a ramp right to the front door. No push button on button entry but the doors weren’t super heavy. Adequate space for a wheelchair throughout the restaurant. Bathroom was 3/5, the hallway was cluttered with high chairs & the handicap stall was very thin, rectangle shaped so I fit alone but if you need assistance there was not room for that. Roll under sinks, as well.

Yummy! Buddy’s Pizza was everything I imagined it would be. I had tried “Detroit Style” pizza in Louisiana and was not impressed, so I immediately knew I needed to try the real deal the next time I visited Detroit. This particular location is in the beautiful downtown Dearborn area. I ordered online and picked the order up. Parking was decent in the back of the restaurant, but there are two entrances..one for dine in and the other for carry out. I picked the wrong door, but the staff nicely directed me to the right area. The pizzas were hot upon pickup and I only had a short ride back to the hotel. I ordered the Detroit Public TV (2 types of pepperoni both under and on top of the cheese) and a create your own with a bunch of toppings. For me, the Detroit Public TV was the star of the show. The edges were perfectly crispy and the pizza was delicious overall. The others liked the create your own better, but I appreciated the simplicity of the pepperoni. Overall, I highly recommend Buddy’s and have recently learned that they ship pizzas across the U.S. They will definitely be hearing from me soon!

Buddy's Pizza in Dearborn! I was craving some cheesy goodness and decided to give them a call for pick up. It was a race against the clock, as I dialed their number at 9:15 pm and they were closing at 10 pm. I felt like I was in an action movie, trying to save my hunger from impending doom! But fear not, as the pizza gods were on my side that day. The pizza was delicious, and the salad was a surprisingly tasty sidekick. I was impressed! And let me tell you, the staff was the cherry on top of this whole experience. They were super nice on the phone and in person during pick up. It's always a relief when the people handling your food are friendly and not secretly plotting against you. All in all, if you're in the mood for some scrumptious pizza and a side of good vibes, I highly recommend Buddy's Pizza in Dearborn. And don't forget to call ahead if you're in a rush - it's like a thrilling race against time, but with a delicious prize waiting for you at the finish line!

Friendly service, lots of free parking in the back, big enough to bring you whole family! I got the Meat Lovers style. Pizza was classic deep dish square style. Personal size is cut into 4, and there is also an 8 slice option. Just the right amount of cheese. A reasonable amount of meat, which was kept on each piece by the cheese. Sauce was thick and rich, with a good medium red colour. Crust was salty with some grease to the touch, strong enough to hold while eating inside first. No burning seen anywhere. Each slice being a corner makes it easier to eat by hand. Order taking and Food delivery to the table was slow, but the assume this was peak business time, as every table was full. Along with us having a large group. The price was a little higher than median, but well worth it, if you prefer this style of pizza. Disclaimer, I'm from Windsor, Ont, which locally prefers a flat style pizza pie, with all locally grown and processed ingredients.
