Buddy's Pizza — Restaurant in Dearborn

Buddy’s Pizza is located in a nice neighborhood in downtown Dearborn. They have plenty of parking with a public parking lot adjacent to the Pizzeria. Once inside the hostess was quick with a smile and got us seated. The smells of fresh pizza filled the air and really got me excited to see the menu. Our waiter, Noah, was handling several tables but was over to see us within just a couple of minutes to get our drink order, and offer us apps. We ordered Buddy’s famous garlic bread sticks (pics below). They came fairly quickly. As a person who enjoys garlic, I struggled to taste the garlic once I used some of the marinara sauce. The marinara sauce is a 10 out of 10! Amazing flavors and really made the garlic breadsticks a winner. The bread was very fresh and enjoyable. The menu has something for everyone and it all seemed fairly priced. Great description of the fresh ingredients and made choosing pretty straight forward. My buddy and I each ordered our own 4 square pizzas. They came hot and fresh in about 10-15 minutes. The toppings were plentiful, the cheese was amazing! YES! The cheese is so fresh you can actually taste the cheese. The sauce is incredible and placed on each square in the unique ways of Detroit square pizza. Very filling and and the crust lives up to its reputation. It was very filling so I was able to take some home with us. Our waiter took great care of us. He kept our glasses filled, checked on us a couple time, brought extra napkins and seemed fairly friendly.

Over all a great experience! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars (or 5 cheese shakers on my rating scale) is because I would have liked to taste the fresh garlic on the garlic bread sticks. I would definitely recommend Buddy’s Pizza and I would encourage you to bring both friends and family here. Kids would do well here and easily find something on the menu.

Good stuff! I heard this was a Detroit stspke that needed to be among my USA pizza shop reviews. Glad I came by.

We were seated with a pleasant experience but then it took the server 10 minutes to come over ☹️ This is after I got a busboy to go get her. She apologized and gave us bread for free and then took our order. My daughter ordered a flatbread pizza and I ordered a regular Foursquare.. my daughter's pizza came out as a regular Foursquare... The server apologized but said... hey you get a free pizza... My daughter's Pizza didn't come for another 10 minutes... When it did come it had too much cheese on it hence my daughter ordered light cheese and it looked completely sloppy... At the very end the server asked how we liked the pizzas... She did take my daughter's Pizza off the bill but always seem to have an attitude like she was put out by anything... Later on my daughter's stomach was very upset... I work in the industry so I know the ropes... It's just disappointing how people just don't care anymore. I still tipped 20% of the original bill but she didn't deserve it... Will not go back to this location.. the best one I think is in Rochester Hills...❤️ Also to add we did order two salads at 8.99 each.. mine was an antipasto... FYI.. I am not a chef but I could have chopped this up for a cool two bucks.. another FYI, if you want a really good one.. go to Louie's Pizza... Don't really eat their pizza but I could eat a whole salad, meant for three people, all...
