2024-01-08 My most recent trip to JM's was very disappointing. I called the order in like always and the response from the JM App was "Your order will be ready in 15 minutes" ... like always.
When I got there 15 minutes later, I was told it would be about 5 minutes. Okay, I can handle that, they did look busy. However, I waited at least another 10 minutes and while waiting I noticed what I am certain were customers arriving, placing an order, having their order prepped, getting their order and then leaving. What's up with that?
When my order was finally ready, the server (manager?) gave me my order along with a paper cup. No mention of the lateness of my order or why there was a cup along with my order ... just a blank stare from the server.
I asked about the cup and was told that was for my patience in waiting. Okay, that's when I started to lose it. First, I'm traveling and a "cup of soda" is not going to travel well for me. If you want to pacify me for being late with the order then give me something that will travel well. Second, don't just stare when you give me my order, apologize and ask me if a desert, a bag of chips or something equivalent would be welcome as compensation.
When I voiced my displeasure someone from back by the grill shouted out "Have a nice evening" ... Now I can appreciate and can give and get sarcasm with the best of them but an upset customer is not the right time to be snarky.
I did not accept the free drink as it was unwanted and inconvenient. My last words as I left were "1 star" ... I wish I'd had a better reaction but that's how it went down.
I have been a loyal JM's customer since mid-2021 and order at least twice a week.
I'm going back to Jimmy John's ... at least for a while.
2023-06-10 Let's start by saying that we (wife and I) love Jersey Mike's. We used to be loyal customers of an establishment with initials JJ but during Covid we switched to JM's due to their hours. We fell in love with JM's and have been loyal regular customers for 3+ years.
I've tried most of their subs, hot and cold, meats and tuna, and love them all.
All that said, wifey and I regularly get the same order every week: 2 #10 mini tunas, 1 white and 1 rosemary parmesan. We love them.
And, the brownies are ridiculous... thick, gooey, rich chocolate... Love 'em.
2023-06-13 Update to my previous review about an error in a takeout order. I spoke with the manager and was told that the day we ordered was a promotional day and they were unable to fill our order as requested (2 #10 mini tunas) because they had sold out ... so ... we each got an automatic upgrade to a tuna wrap ... which by the way was delicious. The manager apologized for not communicating that to us when we picked up the order and gave us a free brownie (delicious). 5 stars...
Read moreYou honestly can't go wrong with this place. The sandwiches are always delicious at this location and the service is always great. Ordering in store or online are both very convenient and quick. I was picking up my sub during lunch time today and it was very busy but they made it look so easy👍. The staff were all working as a team and moving orders very quickly. The owner/boss named Waell was very nice and recommended we try their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies 🍪 . Now these are a MUST !!!!! Another thing that caught my attention while I was waiting for my sub is when the customer behind me requested that some of the condiments for his subs be put " on the side". The server then put the requested items in separate containers and even wrapped the containers of dressing in plastic so they wouldn't leak in the bag and onto the subs. This type of personal service makes this Jersey Mike's a giant step above other sub shops in our area. Wow, if I could put 10 stars for this location I definitely would!!! Bye 👋 Bye👋 Jimmy Johns...
Read moreI usually enjoy my food whenever I come here. This time I went for lunch my wrap was greasy and falling apart! When returned to the store to ask that my sandwich be remade, the manager I guess, was very childish and rude. He first tried to tell me that the wrap is made to thin to add mayo, lettuce and extra meat. I've had my sandwich made this way several times. Untrue! Then he begins to throw things, including my wrap that he is remaking. I asked him does that upset you that the wrap is clearly to sloppy to handle? He says Yes, because you act like we did something wrong.....I said,Well I didn't make it!! I let him know that he could just refund the money I paid instead. Well he just ignores me and had another young make to make the sandwich over. This guy clearly should Not be training young people! He is not about the customer. I kept my cool and just thanked the other young man for remaking the sandwich. Needless to say they have lost me...
