I was disappointed in my all over experience at this location. This is the first time I have ever written a review so clearly I was disappointed; to say the least. It was my first time visiting Kale Me Crazy. The customer service was poor and that speaks volumes because I do not like to be bombarded with smiles and 'how may I help you's" when I first step in the door of any establishment. There was no one at the register and after standing there for awhile with no assistance, I assumed if I sat at the bar someone would greet me. After sitting at the bar awhile I eventually asked another customer what to do.

I ordered an acai bowl, which I believe is overpriced but I had really been wanting to try this place. It tasted okay but half way through the bowl, I found to be what I believe to be a cold stone. I asked an employee what it was and she nonchalantly replied from several feet away, "it's an acai berry." I wish I would have taken a picture because this was the biggest "berry" I have ever seen. If it was a berry, the bowl was poorly blended things could have gone very badly had I decided it was a hunk of granola (which was my first thought) and bitten into it.

So all in all the staff was not polite, not attentive, and the food was overpriced. I will not be returning to this location or...

I ordered the chicken pesto wrap. It was okay. The amount of chicken was sub-par to other places, especially for the cost $13.95+tax ($15.07). The pesto didn't taste homemade and they put maybe a tbsp of cut cucumbers in it. The presentation was nice so I'll give them that.

Unfortunately, my experience as a customer was different from everyone that came into the restaurant after me. I wasn't greeted when I walked in or as I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. When the young man decided to speak to me he said "Let me know when you're ready." I almost walked out. I ordered anyway to see if it was worthwhile and truly, it wasn't. I watched his interactions with 4-5 customers that came in shortly after I sat down to wait. He greeted the first person as he walked in. The next two the same. After that I started my survey. I won't be back.

Pros Imside is aesthetically pleasing. Upbeat music to include instrumental tunes. Cleanliness on the patio, inside, and bathroom (one piece of paper napkin on the floor that's all). Accessible space.

Cons Menu variety is slim. Customer service (for me) was 2/5 Portion...

My friend and I recently visited Kale Me Crazy in Decatur, GA on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken, specifically requesting no tomatoes. However, what I received was a salad that seemed to be Greek-inspired but with rotten and moldy greens, missing peppers and onions, and packaged chicken parts. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I cannot recommend this dish to anyone.

On a positive note, I must say that the restaurant itself was clean and had a pleasant, airy atmosphere. Additionally, they provided parking at the back, which was convenient and saved us the hassle of searching for street parking.

Overall, I was deeply disappointed with the quality of the salad I ordered at Kale Me Crazy. While the restaurant ambiance was pleasant, the lack of attention to ingredient quality and the deviation from my order left a lot to be desired. I will not be returning to this...
