I always review chains based on the location. You should generally have an opinion on the chain's food, it's about how the location executes the brand that stands out. As a Five Guys location, this is among my favorites.
I come in on a semi regular basis, and I can say the food is always good, and if you're picking up, they often wait to get you fresh fries once you arrive, which is A+ service. Today they didn't, so maybe things are changing.
Location is clean and in a great spot, and plenty of room.
The staff are a highlight to me. There's a core of hispanic workers who I often hear speaking Spanish to each other, they seem to work hard and produce the majority of those delicious grill items. They also seem like they have plenty of fun interacting together. There's a brunette girl with thick eyebrows who usually works register and the shake maker, who is a delight to interact with, she's really fun and diligent. And then there's the guy who I'll just call "big guy", he often is serving up fries and orders, and he's very witty. Read moreOn May 1, I visited this establishment and was greeted by a bright and friendly lady at the register. However, I noticed that her manager was yelling at her to hurry up and stop talking. I was appalled by this interaction, as the young lady was simply trying to help me since it had been a while since my last visit. After my order was completed, I waited for about 5-10 minutes before receiving my food from the manager. I requested some mayo on the side for my fries, but unfortunately, the manager's response was a bit rude and disrespectful. I decided to ask for a manager and approached the kind young lady at the register for assistance. She confirmed that the woman who had assisted me was indeed the manager. I learned that her name is Alexis, while the helpful young lady was named Amber. I believe it would be beneficial for the establishment to consider improving customer service training for their management team. After multiple under the breath comments about my order being Allergy - I asked the staff person if he was making fun of the allergy. He said “ yeah, I told him (person preparing burger) to change your gloves because she is watching you like a Hawk.” I proceeded to point out that I was watching to make sure my order was SAFE and I would not get sick. After that the he said “You can come back here and make it yourself.” Low and behold the person preparing the burger put the lettuce directly on the surface where the bun had been.
