Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in DeLand

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I’ve been here a handful of times since it’s been open & I’ve never had a good experience!!! It’s closer to my job than the other location so it’s convenient but this is my LAST time visiting this location! My coffee order is always “thrown together” & I have the SIMPLEST coffee order!! I ask for caramel around the cup & on the top and the caramel is all to the bottom of the cup! Food is never hot!!! The last time I came they forgot to give me my food but gave me all my condiments, I made it all the way to work just to see I never received my food! I could not leave to go get my food so I went the next day and the lady at the window had the nerve to tell me that next time I need to come the same day to get my food. Today, I asked the girl at the window for my condiments , that I also asked for at the speaker, & her response was “it’s already in the bag” which it wasn’t! So I sat there and she rudely asked me did I need anything , I said yes my condiments , she gives me my condiments very aggressively, if she could’ve threw them at me she would’ve. I really don’t like to leave bad reviews but I’ve given this location a couple chances and they just can’t do it right. I understand they’re fairly new, but they have literal instruction manuals to make these simple drinks and they can’t do it. First time i went i got an iced matcha with cold foam (paid extra for cold foam) the first picture is what i received. Grainy, not mixed matcha and cold foam blended into the beverage. I ended up dumping it to go to dunkin. I decided to go back today to give them another try. I paid extra for caramel and in the picture is what i received, barely any caramel. I dumped my drink again bc the espresso tasted burnt and almost chemically and i was getting grounds of coffee when I drank it. As you can see, on the bottom and lining the cup was grounds from the coffee. Honestly it’s not worth spending $6-10 on a crappy drink. You’re better going to the location on S Woodland...

This location is in need of desperate help. We were so excited when this location opened up because it is closer to us than the south DeLand location, however we’ve left almost every visit sorely disappointed. From our experience, the staff is 50/50. Some have been great and appear to enjoy the work they do (and interact kindly), the others act as if you just being a customer is an inconvenience to their day (and they are just plain rude). The wait times in the beginning were rough, which honestly is expected for a new business, but they have improved slightly. Still slow when compared to the south DeLand location. The last couple times we attempted to go, they were out of several items/ingredients. While very inconvenient, we would rather drive to the other side of town where we know our presence is welcome from the employees and know our orders will be made correctly...
