TLDR: if they get your order wrong, instead of fixing it, they'll tell you they'll call you back and then block your number.
I was treated very poorly here. There was a minor mistake with my order, which was no big deal - I got the wrong type of rice with my combination platter. I first tried to address this with Door Dash by clicking the "help" button. But that menu informed me that feedback would simply be shared with the restaurant to improve future experiences, not that my order would be fixed. So I called the restaurant to ask about this, and the woman I spoke to said "for Door Dash orders, you need to speak to my manager, but she's on the other line. Give me your number and she'll call you right back." So I did and I waited. 15 minutes later, when I received no call, I tried calling again, only to find that they had blocked my number ("Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Your call cannot be completed as dialed" - for a number that had worked 15 minutes ago). I tried several more times to no avail, but then called with my partner's phone and the call went right through. I explained that I was waiting now for 20 minutes and no one had called me back. She asked me to hold the line for her manager to speak to me, but then hung up. I tried calling back only to find that they blocked THAT number as well. So I got in my car and went to the restaurant. There was one woman and two men present (and I could see the entire place). The woman approached me, and I asked for the manager. She said she was the manager, and I recognized her voice as the one on the phone - meaning she lied about needing to have another female manager speak to me. I confronted her in a calm manner about her jerking me around and blocking my calls. She just looked at my quizzically. I asked her to at least make it right by replacing my combination platter (since the chicken had sat around for a while by this point), but she would only give new rice. She then said that in the future, I should call door dash if there's something wrong with my order, because they can initiate a new order. I said it would have been nice if she told me that when I called instead of jerking me around. Rest assured, there will be no future order. I only ordered from here in the first place because my usual place is closed on Mondays. In the future I would choose hunger over this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI dont know what happened, but I vowed not to order again from them last time and then out of habit went there again for take out . The food was very plainā¦almost flavorless, tasted like cardboard. Had pork fried rice, chicken with vegetables (very chewy meat, bone dry after asking for heavy on sauce due to not having enough normally.) Inedible. The pork fried rice tasted awful. The only thing I liked from both orders were the egg rolls and wonton soup. This used to be my go to place but now everything is overcooked, and old tasting. The people there are always really nice, fast and efficient. I hope they change back to their old ways/recipes. I will give them another try in a couple of months. Normally order every week or two. Sad that Iāve noticed such a decline over the last several months. I really want to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a takeout restaurant with one or two small tables. You are warmly greeted by a young man who confirms your order by your last four digits of your telephone number. Very courteous and professional. Although I ordered by phone I still had to wait about 5 minutes but that's reasonable. The food was hot. I ordered hot and sour soup and shrimp in lobster sauce. Because it was a combination platter I ordered it with vegetable fried rice and it comes with an egg roll. Everything was super yummy. I've seen some recent reviews that have said otherwise it almost made me skip my Delaware Chinese food staple. I'm glad I went with...
